Hi there,

Could anybody help me diagnosing them ?

You can check the pictures here: http://www.govannom.org/mj/pekes/

Some of them are in my balcony and others in a grow box. I don't use any fertilizer.

I water them every morning, all with the same water which I leave in a bottle on the balcony and opened for 2 or more days.

They are around 3 weeks old from sprouting.

I tried to read some guides about illnesses but I think I've got two or three different, maybe salt problems, potassium and nitrogen ?

Some help would be really appreciated :)

Regards.

for 1 just by thinking its salt means your giving them nute and they shouldnt even be close to needing them. soil has what a plant needs to grow you shouldnt have to add anything till bloom unless they ask for it first. and if and when they do ask for it give it to them at a 1/4 strength

swazifarmer, this is no about winning, it's about trying to help my plants coz they are sick and I don't know why so I can't help them :(

Here are a couple of pictures, I guess you were right and this will be a better way :)

In the following picture you can see that number 1 and 2 don't have a normal colour, they have light and dark green in the leaves and the small leaves that are growing in the middle, if you look at them you can see that the tips are brown.
The number 3 is a complete mess. The small leaves in the middle you can't even difference one leave from the other because they are completely twisted.
This 3 are in the grow box.

The next one, I know is a little bit difficult to see on the picture but the leaves in the part close to the stem are weird, I wouldn't know how to explain but the colour is not the same as the rest of the leave, is like a little bit dry but not brown.
In the balcony.

And the next one is why I said maybe it was a salt problem. Because there is that kind of white powder in some of my pots and because the symptoms I saw on the plants are the ones I read in an article about mj illnesses. And just in case, it's not perlite, I know what perlite is and that is something else.

I hope you can help me with this :) Let me know if you need any more info.

What soil did you use? If you started them in MG or a potting soil, they vary wildly from brand to brand on how much nutes they include. Some have time release that is intended for full grown plants. You should always start seedlings in seed starter soil or peat pellets and slowly work them into a hotter mix.

Your plants look burnt and stunted. I would transplant immediately into a mix of 1/4 potting soil with 3/4 seedling mix.

Hi there :)

Thanks for the replies :)

Are you sure is because of the nutes ? Couldn't it be something else ? I haven't use anything at all, just soil and water at this point.

The soil I'm using is biobizz (you can check the link) and it's the one I use every year without any problem.

http://www.biobizz.nl/products.php?nid=196&cat=p

Could the problem be because I used some soil I had from last year ? I hear it's ok from one year to the other but I didn't keep it in the best conditions.
