Almost harvest time?

I lost track, and can't find my journal...
I think Im about 7 weeks into 12/12.

No idea what strain, it's bag seed.
No idea what nutes it's getting, I don't have ph testers, ppm testers, and I used mg soil and nutes. It's a "miracle" I got this far! *wink*

Anyway, how much longer do you think before I can start cutting?
There's 10 top colas. A few of them don't even have red hairs yet, but the buds further down its branch do.

The rest of the top colas look like the picture.

The lower buds have a bit more red hairs but it still looks about a 50/50 ratio.

Also, I prefer sedative weed so I'm going for close to 80% reds. (unless that article was hogs wash)

When you see the trichomes go milky to amber, mostly milky with like 20% amber its time to chop...

I'd say you have a few weeks left... All those white hairs will retract into the bud and turn amber color.

Them pistils look pretty fresh and reaching out. I'd say atleast 2 weeks 18 days would take the gold.

Because you're seeking a sedative effect, let it go long. I don't understand how someone unfamiliar with your grow and growth rate could predict a harvest in 18 days. Sit tight, keep an eye on those trichomes.

20% amber trichomes are the 'norm', but you may want 50% or more if you want to be put to sleep. Strain is a factor, and phenotype, so it's always a roll of the dice. For sedative effect, mature is better than immature. Good luck.
