So i just bought my FFOF mix and i am almost ready to go. I am just waiting on my clones and after that its on. My question is should i get the pots pre washed and filled with the soil and moisten it while i am waiting for my plants to arrive, or should i do it when i get them?

Youre gonna have to put the plant in, then fill the rest of the dirt around it. It's not like you can put all the dirt in first.

Ok so i got one of my clones, how does my plant look? I'm a little concerned with the yellowing leaf, something to be concerned about?

not necessarily. the new growth looks good and the yellow margins could be any number of things. soil looks nice.
dont overwater and idk what kind of lighting u r using but if its not too much u can put the plant within inches of the light. im talking t5 floros or something like that...not 1000HPS. u dont even need any ferts right now. just tlc. good luck.

If you're growing outdoors, it's going to be nearly impossible to totally eradicate pests. Keep the area clean, try not to overwater, and you can also turn the dirt once in a while near the plants. Not sure if sand around the plants would help much outside, unless they're in pots as opposed to growing right in the ground. Neem oil or almost any other well known, reputable insecticide should help, but again, outdoors is going to be hard to remain 100% pest free.

This old man told me use lemon joy dish soap. The bugs will get the shits and leave and it taste bad to them. You mix like 2-3 drops in a gallon... Its mild and wont hurt plants im not really sure about Marijuana but works on tomatoes......

Usually mites are the main problem. I've never tried Neem oil but I hear it does work. If you watch carefully and can catch mites in their juvenile stage it works more effectively. Horticultural oil works also. I work in Plant Health Care and spray oil all summer long.
I spray at a rate of 1% oil to 99% water. But just to be safe don't spray on days where the heat is higher than 90F
If you want a more hard core miticide there are plenty to choose from. Read the label carefully. make sure it says the product works on spider mites. Most can be sprayed throughout the vegetative stage. Mites like high heat and dry weather.
I've also had success with Safer Soap. It is very safe and can be used up until harvest.
A garden hose will knock those lil fuckers off if you spray underneath the leaves where they live. But you gotta do it regularly. Hope this helps. I wish I had a nice safe place to grow outside. I'd get much better yield. Peace.

Oh btw...dish soap is cool. It will not harm the plant. Insects breath through their skin and if you clog up their respiratory system
You can kill them pretty easily .

Cool guys i really appreciate it, It started raining last night so i had my baby on my window seal with my blinds open and the window blowin her around so she can get a strong stock. Once it was dark i put her in the bathroom so she can be 100 percent dark, although i was thinking on just leaving her @ 24 hours for now so she can grow, but i decided to let her sleep. I woke up at sunrise to put her outside, woke up 2 1/2 hours later to see her just loving life....WONDERFUL! check out my grow journal guys
