I NEVER EXPECTED TO BE IN THIS FOR 12 WEEKS. I'M STILL WAITING. ANY COMMENTS. i WAS TOLD 2, 3 WEEKS A MONTH AGO AND I'M NOT SURE THAT THIS ONE IS QUITE READY, NOT SURE. THE OTHER ONE, WELL IT'S GOT STILL ANOTHER 2 WEEKS AT LEAST WHICH WILL PUT IT AT 14 WEEKS, WOW, NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE THIS LONG. THESE PICS ARE OF A SMALL BRANCH I CUT AND TRIMMED, I'M GOING TO HANG IT IN MY CLOSET FOR A FEW DAYS THEN DROP IN A PAPER SACK FOR A FEW MORE AND THEN IN A JAR FOR A COUPLE OF MORE AND THEN TESTER, SEE HOW SHE SMOKES. WHAT DO YOU THINK.

Hey bro this is what I would do if I were you, go down to Radio Shack and get a scope that does 100X magnifacation $10 and scope your trichs! If it is 90% or more milkey then chop her, or you can wait till they start to go amber. I like milkey on my weed with a touch of amber trich's.

I got that fkin thing, it's really hard to see out of. But they look mostly cloudy just a few clear ons, and a few amber at the bottom. My wife has never seen bud before and i haven't seen it under a microscope and there's no one else to look, so i'm finding it hard, yea know.

I know this doesn't help but I have a kids toy called the eyeclopse and it is the one that can take pictures! If you are going to continue to grow I would highly reccomend one! If you are seeing amber trich's chop that pig down! JMHO I do mine when they are milkey like I said and everyone loves the high! I have never used the Radio Shack one cus I have the kids toy so I don't know how hard they are to use does it have adjustments to focus the scope on there? Just try scoping her again and if you see amber go ahead and chop her.

One thing I can't stress enough is dry and cure your shit out properly! It truely makes a huge difference.

You want decent quality it starts with genitics. It is good to do a few practice runs under your belt with crappy bagseed.
If you kept this going for 12 weeks i have faith you're ready to order some reputable breeders strains that interest you.
I dont think your bud lacks trichs because of your growing ability, i believe its the strain, it just simply is shitty genetics.bongsmilie

It actually smells really good, and i'm sure if i can dry and cure right it will be pretty decent. What are some good drying and curing technic s. I plan on cutting branches to manageable lengths and hanging them on hangers with good ventilation. I figure about 3-6 days. Then i'll drop them in a paper sack for a few more and then put in jars, remembering to burp a couple times a day for an hour. I DRIED SOME OUT FOR 3 DAYS AND PUT IN A JAR FOR A FEW AND IT DON'T DO TO BAD. CANT WAIT TO TRY MY HAND AT SOME GOOD SHIT.

Thanks for the responses, any help on drying and curing would be nice. Please no links to other web-sites, just give it to me, how you do it, drying and curing.

In order to keep all chlorophyll breaking down and keep your aroma and taste.
Simply, when ready to harvest, cut at the base of the stock, then hang the entire plant upside down.
When the stem that the bud is connected to snaps (4-7 days depending on conditions), take plant down, then cut the buds off the branch into the jars.
When you want to toke, pull a dry bud out of the jar and rip off all the longer leaves and manicure it, then put the trimmings aside for food and concentrates etc.
I have done countless experiments where this method always holds true, nice stinky buds that you can smell through the jar and taste amazing.
I will never recommend cutting the plant up and destroying your hard work by trimming when wet again.
Granted you are working with good genetics, remember, you can only polish a turd so much, but in the end it will still only be a piece of shit.
Research vigorously, get a couple bag seed grows under your belt for experiences, invest in equipment/nutrients etc, stabilize your grow room environment to make it perfect for the plant, polish your growing technique, find strains that suit you from reputable breeders, work with those strains and figure them out, once familiarized with a strain, isolate its specific wants and capitalize on the plants needs.
Then you will be producing stuff so good, you wont want anything ever again other than your own, top shelf supply.
I'm proud to be able to say that.
I don't say this lightly, invest in genetics, then you will accomplish these results.:weed:;)bongsmilie:blsmoke::hump::joint::shock::eyesmoke:

Thanks for the help bro. Can't wait to have that kind of bud. Your right tho, i'll get good one day. This is only my 2nd grow. The 1st isn't even worth talkin about, but this one didn't go to bad.

have to agree on the genetics comments.
i grew 3 harvests over the past year from bag seed, with a combined yield of about 1/2 lb. Unfortunately, it was low grade dirt weed and most of it was not worth smoking... however, it taught me a hell of a lot about growing and now i'm about 2 weeks from chopping my first harvest with a known high grade strain and the plants are doing great.
the difference between the unknown bag seed and the high grade clones i grew was like night and day.
Good luck to you....

Im not worried about you getting good.
Your good to go man, just invest in those things i mentioned and you'll have all you need to make perfect end produuct.
you look like you kept the plant healthy for this long, its just the genetics, equipment, nutrients, etc that is hindering your final product.
