Alright - Made my list as a first-timer, can you review/help out?

Alright - now that I'm only waiting for my equipment to get her from eBay purchases I just want to go through my 'list' and make sure I have everything planned out and how to do it all.

The setup (well soon to be setup):

Clone/Mother/Starting area (Will be starting with seeds this time)
Area: 2'w x 3'h x 1.5' deep (just something small, not going big yet)
Media: Rapid Rooters with a heating mat and humidity dome
Lights: 2' 4bulb t5 fixture on yo-yos
Passive intake with a 90 cfm exhaust cpu fan
Lined with panda film/light proofed

- Germinate seeds by moistening paper towel, putting seeds between and folding up and putting in a dark area with no light.
- Once popped - place into rapid rooters (soaking them in RO water and squeezing excess water out) and sealing the top 'hole' off with a side of the rooter
- Leave lights on 27/7 and be sure to keep the rooters damp when they begin to dry out
- Maintain 80F area with 50% RH (I think I read these are the numbers)

Veg/Flower Area
Area: 4'w x 4'd x 6.5'h
Method: 4x 5 gallon recirculating bubble buckets connected to a 5th res outside of room for easier adjustments
Lighting: 400w MH and 600w HPS (I obtained the High-par from lumatek to use with a lumatek digital ballast that i can switch to the booster seeting)
Reflector: 8" Hydrofarm xtrasun reflector with air-tight glass
Fan: 6" Valueline inline fan
Carbon Filter: Still need to purchase this - if anyone has recommendations on the size I should get for this small grow please let me know!)
Using a SCroG ~ 1.5' about tops of buckets

- Veg with 400w MH 24 hours until plants fill up the SCroG
- Maintain around 70F room temps, 30% RH, and 65F water temps (I'll figure out what my temps will be when equipment gets here...just making sure I know what I need to shoot for)
- Using General Hydroponics Nutes with Lucas Formula (1/2 dose during veg and gradually bringing it up so I can have it at max dose for flower starting)
- Flower with 600w High-Par HPS 12/12 for ~9 weeks
- Maintain same temps
- Increase my nute formula to full dose
- Last 10 days before harvest flush with regular water (perhaps add Sweet to solution for a booster)
- Every 10 days (approximately) I'll be doing a res flush and adding new nutes to the mix using the Lucas method where once I add regular water to the res equal to the original nute amount is when I'm suppose to reset it

I will be using Reverse Osmosis water - because I'm using this do I need a base solution using some kind of Cal-mag solution?

Any advice/corrections/suggestions would be great! I know it's not a SB system but due to space confinements and being my first grow I'm trying to keep it somewhat simple with the buckets

sounds good but when you clone you want your humidity up to like 80%. also instead of half dose I would start them out on 1/4 dose. and what is this about 27/7?? do you mean 24/7?

May want to think about a carbon filter for the smell, a pph and ph meter and (splitting hairs here) but I think the ideal water temp is 68F. Lastly I think you want to start off with less then 1/2 of the recommended nutes but I'm sure someone smarter then I can tell you for sure. Take it all with a grain of salt as I am still very new at this.

how often do you plant on running your pumps and for how long?
The pump will be on all the time constantly circulating the water (this is modeled after the Under Current Hydro setup)

and why use seeds?? why not clones?
Unless you live near me and want to provide me with some clones - seeds will be where I have to start until I have a mother plant up and running.

and what is this about 27/7?? do you mean 24/7
This is a typo - sorry about that...in bed lying on side trying to type and didn't catch that.

I mentioned that I will be getting a filter for the odor and just not sure on what size I should get (asked for advice in my original posting based on my grow area). I have a digital ph and ppm meter :)

Sorry man missed it. Just get a filter that fits on the fan. So if the fan is 6" get a 6" filter or better yet build a diy, there are many on this site.

The DIY are pretty good too? I just never know what size fan to run them on (the 6" fan I'm ordering is strictly for my lights - though if I don't do cool tube and have to exhaust (considering doing CO2) then I can attach it there)
