Just a quick question. When I chop a plant, trim it, it will smell like one very specific stinky weed. But when said plant is dryed by hanging(in my closet) and put into jars, it smells like something very different...something not dank at all. Does this change to dank smells again in the curing process? Why does it smell like rot feces disgusting like?

Mold maybe? How do they look..

they look fine, great in fact, they are still definitely moist, but they don't smell anything near what they smelt like when they were on the stem...

?
