Alternating branches

Quick Question... I have 4 plants that have all been vegging for 30 days. Today I noticed that one of them is now alternating nodes but on a secondary branch and it is just that one branch on the one plant. the main stem is not alternating nodes yet and my question is whether or not alternating nodes on a secondary branch is a sign of maturity and it is ready to flower. Or maybe I should wait another week or so before flowering????? TY for any replies:joint:

i like to wait until the main stem shows alternating as it's a sign of sexual maturity and means that the plant is ready to be flowered..
of course you can flower w/e you want, but it's been said that the thc profile and taste greatly improve when one waits for sexual maturity before flowering, which is good enough for me.. :D

Is it a cutting or from seed? My plants from cuttings do that all the time.

Yeah I am going to wait, these are from seed, fimmed, lst going on they are getting very bushy and sweet looking so why not wait:weed:

yes wait, for sure and you will be happy you did smoking that bushy beautiful baby a TRIPLE B! sounds like you have a winner, what strain? hope she is a feminized seed so theres not a chance of disappointment GOOD LUCK BUD!!

Well this is my first grow, they are bag seed.. ( which was very good, but had seeds...) so I have 4, hoping for at least 2 females... I figure with my love and no seeds this stuff will be even better. It is weird though I feel nervous like waiting for a baby to be born lol... Oh and these things are smelling skunky BIG TIME... in veg Will update my journal tomorrow with some new pics
