We bought 3 less than a year ago. One failed after 2 months and we are still trying to fix it. They are out of stock including Growers Lights where we bought ours. Always seem to be out of stock.

I have been thinking strips but not sure my guy can handle assembling. This would be to replace 1000 watt HPS SE.

I am trying to keep the cost below $700

I was thinking maybe 4 of these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C59J8L2/ref=psdc_14252941_t1_B076QDKVDZ

Or 4 of these:

If you can wait a few more days, Steven has a nice light in the pipeline. It's still a secret but an open one. Its a light for 4x 4' area and I would say it can replace a DE HPS in terms of usable output.
Have a look at hybridway2's HLG vs HGL thread there you can see that beast in action. Lots of white, red and deep-reds and efficiency close to f..... 3,0μMol/j.
I've no clue how long it takes until we can buy them but if I had an empty 4x4 ' I would wait for that Trinity board.(no guarantee for the name).

Edit..
Look here you can see one..

He's comparing them at the same light levels so the only difference till now is the power draw. HLG side has much less power draw and the board has almost twice as much distance. Its really a beast!

That's just one ENORMOUS PCB eh? 210v though? I guess CC drivers are your only option with this one. Looks pretty sweet though. Definitely a cool board.

Don't know for sure but its using an HLG-480. But the numbers of diodes have nothing to do with the board voltage. They could still use shorter strings for instance 16 white +1or 2 deepred per string. This way they could still use an 48v or 54v driver.
I'm pretty sure they still do so cuz its easier and more safe when the boards run with lower voltage.

Edit!
Ah, now I've seen it in the lower left corner.
It's indeed a 210v board and you would need an HLG-480H-2100A or B or AB. But have you seen its max current of 4.2A? That's 882w! Heck, meanwell need to develope more powerful drivers!
Maybe it can run with 2 HLG-480's? HLG-600 is only availabnle in CV/CC so that's unfortunately no option.

Ya that's I was thinking too. Bummer. I guess, you're limited to a 480-3200 Max. Or is it 3500/3800?
