Aluminum foil harms plants?

i didnt believe the person who told me so i decided to ask the experts! lol they said that when you use aluminum foil to reflect light in your grow room, that it will burn the leaves when they eventually grow out and touch them? ive used it before and i dont ever recall any leaves burning.

has anyone else heard of this or witnessed any side effects?

dont listen to them. foil is ok to use but there are better things to use. i prefer the two sided black and white plastic.

ya i plan on getting some better stuff but i just wanted to find out if this was true. thanks for the clarification!
