I saw that omniflect stuff on htgsupply.com and was very interested in using it. I use mylar now and it really is a pain in the ass to hang. You say that the omniflect stuff is easy to work with?Despite the fact that some people claim "hot spots" with foil, it workd just fine as long as you use the diffused side (as someone already pointed out. Mylar is okay, but hard to work with, as it clouds easily and gets dirty fast. If you use mylar, you pretty much need to clean the shit out of it between every grow, which is a pain in the ass cause it streaks too.
I recently took a grow class with Ed Rosenthal, and he turned me on to Omniflect. I haven't used anything else since then, the stuff is so great. It is durable and easy to work with, has no maintainence, never clouds, no hot spots, etc. Many online grow shops have it, its not hard to find, and is comparable in price to mylar.
Good luck!
It is VERY easy to work with. It is sturdy and heavy duty, and doesn't tear or run at all.I saw that omniflect stuff on htgsupply.com and was very interested in using it. I use mylar now and it really is a pain in the ass to hang. You say that the omniflect stuff is easy to work with?
Can some people post up some pics of the plants they have grown while aluminum foil lined the walls? I personally would never use the stuff outside of the kitchen but some people swear by using it. What are your thoughts? Any bad experiences? Thanks everyone
Excellent dude that sounds like a winner to me. I am going to have to check my local hydro store or possibly order it soon. Thanks for the info man!
