Am i changing?

I've pretty much gave up drinking. And trust me i use to drink like a fish. And i've been smoking way more pot. Im just not the party type anymore. I would rather much stay home on the weekends and listen to music, surf the web, and smoke some green :-)

It's just like i had some friends over and i basically threw them out. I guess im slowing down. I dunno. I just enjoy my privacy is all. I guess i would just love to have a cabin tucked deep in the woods and the only way to it would be by boat or plane. Oh and for shits and giggles i would throw a few plants out in the springtime and let them grow to be monsters. Imagination running wild :-)

well i think we all start to be more of home bodied people when we smoke alot of pot, everything is convienient. We dont have to worry about cops, we can watch whatever we want. I like to stay at home myself for the most part, i spend about 5 days out of the week chilling and the other 2 out with friends, but even then its at their house.

I actually got that way too! I was going out everywhere and anywhere but now i'd rather be home watching something or reading and smoking. I don't even hang out with many friends anymore. Just a very small select few.

Hank you gotta have your friends man... I love my privacy as well but its healthy to have social interaction on a daily basis. You don't want to regress into your own mind and be alone all the time. Trust me when I say you start losing your mind after a few weeks with almost no one to talk to. Think of it like putting yourself in the isolation unit at a prison...

Its great that you stopped drinking ..Kudo's I too used to drink like a fish.. I still have a drink here and there , but not from the time I wake up, to the time I go to bed Like I used to .... Booze is useless IMO

Well it's not that im anti-social....I still have my really close friends and family but i just don't enjoy going out and partying like i use too. Id rather just stay home and watch a good movie. God i must be getting old

Alcohol is what kept me out of the house, now I'm home a lot and when I go out, I enjoy myself so much more. :joint:

I think everyone pretty much agrees on the alcohol....it is no good in excess.
I like being a hermit, it protects me. I have a hard time with new peeps, I can be a bit shy and I am mistaken as a bitch. I do much better by myself, but, I wonder how healthy this can be? I don't think it is too healthy, it actually scares me a little how much I like solitude....

Im always afraid that i give off the wrong impression that people think im a bit of a dick in which im not. Sometimes i just don't like being around peeps and enjoy my privacy a little too much. A simple life is all i want. No more distractions.

yeah Hank, I think that is what most of us want, atleast I do...a simple, non complicated life. It seems like the only way to achieve that is by myself...Too many people equal un wanted drama...for me anyway! :peace:

Hank I was the dorky kid in highschool and only had a very few true friends. Honestly you can live your life like a hermit and never risk putting yourself out there. But you have to play the game if you want to win so put yourself out there and try to meet people. Personally I started smoking weed after high school and just started hitting up bars and hanging out with random people until I was part of a group of friends.
