when it comes to organic ferts, u are correct however, chemical ferts CAN burn a plant. you will find hundreds of photos of burnt plants here in this forum.
You're mistaken on what I'm saying. Yes chemical nutes "burn" plants. Do you know the reason why they burn a plant? Because there's excess salt build up.
However you can't "over feed" a plant. Its impossibe because the plant will only take in what it needs, and leave what it doesn't need in the medium. Where that's when excess salts build up and cause the plant to burn. If you water with just water between each feeding then you rinse out salts that build up. That's why you should always rinse mediums with plain water (not flush - rinse) between feedings. Most brands will tell you to feed every other watering, they tell you for a reason.
If you feed normal dosage you can usually get away with feeding for 3 waterings, then rinse, then feed for another 3 waterings ect. (That's my feeding schedule). BTW I use FF chem line of nutes, Big Grow - Big Bloom - Tiger Bloom. Havnt burned a plant yet and don't plan on it either.
