Ok so this is my first plant. It's been through alot, already been through one cycle and my dog ate the top if it. Well now i don't want to wait too long to harvest again. I know it's been through a lot but if I get a few buds off of it that are ready I'll be satisfied. Its been outside the whole time, i live in Florida and was told should wait till beg. if Oct to harvest. Im slreafy seeing the pistils turn colors so Im thinking Oct might be too long?? So anyways here's a few pix of what I took today.

no definitely not ready. I would add some mollasses to your regimen to try and bulk them up. The pics are kind of blurry but it looks like you have new growth still.

Nowhere near ready. In Florida, we are closer to the equator and therefore have longer days than most of the country. Most outdoor growers are beginning harvests in October, but that doesn't mean they are chopping their prized colas first. Be patient and let it happen. You haven't even begun to see Trichomes yet. I'd say you have another 7-9 weeks.

Early-mid October sounds about right, by the looks of it. It should fill out quite a bit more, which means it'll be sprouting even more white pistils, that'll need time to turn. Be patient, it's coming soon.

Few questions about using molasses. I've read to use anywhere from 1 tbsp to 3 per gallon. And, what does it do to the water PH? How often to use, and really, how much of a difference can you expect to see?

As long as you don't have any problems with deficiencies, or your medium, keeping it in the direct sunlight, is most important, at this point.

Molasses is only needed is you have a living soil. if you are feding ready to use nutes no need for molasses.
all it does is feed you soil to poduce more nutes ie. bigger denser buds.
If your feeding ready to use nutes you have no microbes to eat the molasses to turn it into what the plant needs.

I've been reading up on the molasses and will try it out. Here is a helpful link from videoman40:
Hey everyone, I started to utilize molasses on my grow recently.
It was highly advised to me by a very compotent grower, who loves organics.
As such I have been doing some research on it and came up with this, and, of course wanted to pass this on to everyone. I found this interesting.
This is from high times.
We did an experiment about 10 years ago and found that buds swell about 20% when sugar is added to irrigation water during the last four weeks of flowering. The sugar could also be enhanced with other flavors, but the flavors don't always come through as a notable taste when the weed is smoked.

PS, I was advised to use molosses every other week throughout the flowering cycle
(For what it's worth)

I wanted to clarify that when they talk of "sugars" they are talking about molasses, not table sugar, this is NOT the same thing.

blackstrap molasses also has a ton of calcium, magnesium and potassium as well as sucrose sugar in the liquid state. I use a tbsp per gallon and my plants responded well. I had some cal-mag deficiency and this cleared it up and the new growth was much more dense. and its only about $8 for 16oz of Organic. if youre thinking about what your smoking.

I have a few pics I just took recently. I haven't been able to try the molasses yet due to the heavy rain here I haven't needed to water (Just brought it inside bc of this hence why the leaves are still soaked)...I'm thinking 3-4 weeks around Halloween possibly? Let me know what you think...Thanks!

They don't look too bad. However, I'm concerned with the large number of brown pistils, and the lack of calyx development. They're outside, correct? Are you sure it hasn't hermied on ya? Looks like it could've been pollinated, to some degree. IMO, if it was out in the sunlight, the buds would be more developed, by now.

Sorry, I'm not dissing ya, I'm just trying to make sure everything is okay. :)

Its all good. Not really sure whats goin on. The plant has already been through 1 cycle but never got like over 1ft or real buddy so we left it alone. This is cycle 2 and it is kept outside. It's in a spot that has wooden pillars above so it doesn't get direct sunlight. We first found the plant w/ a male plant next to it when it was about 3wks and we got rid of the male. It's concerning me too that I see a lit of red hairs popping up everywhere but like u said with the lack of calyx devol. not sure it is poss could have been pollinated. What would be the best solution? If I get a few nice buds from this thing I will be happy. I just want to make sure it'll be at the right time

Look up a product called Dutchmasters Reverse. It's a foliar spray for plants that have hermied/been pollinated. I've never used it, but have read about guys who have, getting good results. There's also another product(or many) that is for plants that have been pollinated, but I can't remember the name, for the life of me.lol Any help, guys?
