what do you think the role of an actor is?
It makes prefect sense to me. Their movies are just getting too god damn repetitive. Shit 90% of all those Rogan and Will Farel movies have the same cast saying the same shit over and over and acting the same way. They just lack any sort of originality is all.

Comedians of yesteryears were way more original. Dan Aykroyd always played a new radically different role in each of his films yet still kept his comical familiar touch (shit he was a nerdy ghostbuster and a chicago blues singer, and both of those characters were vastly different then each other and the stories were vastly different). Same goes to Eddie Murphy (in one film he played an african price, a barber, a priest and an old jew). The same goes for Bill Murray. What I'm getting down to is that all these comics of yesteryears always found very fresh and funny new way to make you laugh. It just seems like Rogan and all of his current contemporaries lack this ability. All they do is act like the same dude over and over, with same line delivery, and same archetypes for each characters. They just seem to recycle the same shit over and over. It's just not funny anymore.

Seth rogen does seem to play the same role over and over, but it's funny. It hasn't got tired yet. Sooner or later it might get old but I love the dumb shit he comes up with.

Grand theft auto games have been pretty much the exact same thing since GTA 3. Blow some shit up, steal some cars, one giant bank heist per game, just a different city character and accent.

It's still fun as fuck to run around, blow shit up, steal cars, and shoot pedestrians. Same concept.
