Am I using the right CFL?

This is my first time and I have a seedling a week old or so with its 2nd set of siraded leaves just now growing. I leave it outside during the day then bring it in at night and have it under a 24 watt (100 watt equivilent) CFL, about 3 inches from the seedling, and leave it there until the next morning when it goes back in the sun. At what point should I add more light, or should I wrap my closet with foil or something along those lines? Thanks for any help

Careful with BUGS man ants & spider mites & caterpillers. So gross. Keep her either inside full time or outdoors full time

only 8 hours of light? Are you at the furthest southern tip of Argentina or something? In the Northern Hemisphere, it's PRIME veg. time of year.

bugs will get into the soil and when u take it inside theyll take over ur grow space and possibly ur house... keep it inside for a while.. and get like at the very least 2 more 100 watt equivalants for veg and try to make sure they are in the blue spectrum for veg and red for flower...

you think one 100watt bulb will be enough for it to live 24/7 inside? at what size should i add a 2nd light?

there is no certain point to add more light. You want the right spectrum if light & as much as possible through out the whole grow. Some people grow 1plantb under a 100watt hps. Some people go all out & grow under the sun outdoors for real big healthy plants. Light is the way a plant continues to live & be healthy. Why are you going to settle for 1bulb knowing your plant needs as much light as possible.

NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH LIGHT. BIG HEALTHY PLANT & GOOD YEILD COME FROM LOTS OF LIGHT.
