that this would make a very good case for a pc grow?????

Have my intake in the front and keep the exhaust on the top since hot air rises?
Other openings for added cooling, plenty of head room, and plenty of width for my cfl/power supply strip. After reading most the night about these pc grows,,,I'm starting to piece one together. Dreamt of an auto pounder/lst/pc grow last night!!

almost 50 bucks for a case you'll use for growing? You just couldn't go with a cheap one didn't you?

I have a cabinet in the man cave who is being transformed right now also! 2' x 4 bulb t5 showed up for it yesterday. Need exhaust fan and fem seeds and the cab is a go!!!!! The PC grow will be auto's only and if you buy from the net for a pc case,,,,48.00 shipped w/2 1200 fans is not too bad............$48 case, $10 bulbs, $4 plug in sockets, $3 power strip, and figure $15 misc.....80.00 total,,,,,,I'm alright with that.

guess just biased in thinking that pc case grows are a waste of time..

Waste of time? There's enough information on here to prove that opinion wrong. Believe what you want, but you can put a pc case almost anywhere without giving off suspicion, and the minimal amount of work needed is another reason why they're a great choice for first/stealth growers. That said, I wouldn't pay any more than 20 bucks for a case. If you want something classier than an old '95 case, just do some searching for a used one. In the end it's all up to you though.

I love these PC grows, humble and micro :blsmoke: But I'm afraid to say that you have wasted a lot of money. You should have searched some pile of junk to find some old ass PC which you could strip of crap. Also there is about 2 fans in each PC, so those would also have been free. If you needed some extra venting, you could have just punched a hole somewhere in the case and installed one of your free fans.

Point taken on the pc case from everyone. I think they serve there purpose very well and I look forward to building one. I had put "ordered" in my second post in hopes that it would kill the thread since I could find NO delete thread,,,I have not ordered it and will go to a repair shop tomorrow and see what I can find. Well beyond the age of 14 also.
