Amateur grow setup!!

Hello everyone! Im posting here with a new grow i started a couple weeks ago. Im a very amateur grower who is just having some fun so i dont have exacts or anything like that. I will get numbers for soil when i get them. The lights are 1 75w led 5000k daylight bulb. 2 65 w led 5000k daylight bulbs and 2 45 w led 5000k daylight bulbs. I have a small fan to circulate air in the small closet im currently using which is like 4x3ft or something around there. I am using organic soil for 2 plants (the back 2 in pics) miracle grow standard potting soil for 2 (the front 2 in pics) and a mix of two (the center in pics). ***full disclaimer this is how i tried to do it with regards to the positioning of the plants and the soil. Im really not 100% positive that the organic vs. Miracle pots are where i said they are. I was in a pinch and had to get the different soil when i ran out. Im amateur.**** I started the back left one ( the big one) about a week and a half earlier than the others. I know that will very soon be a problem but we'll see. Anyhow im just sharing my little fun project and hoping for thoughts or suggestions or critiques. They have lights on 24hrs right now. When do i start turning lights off? I see some curling on leaves( i way overwatered the soil when i transplanted from their starting homes which is a whole story of stress to these guys which, if relevant, ill further explain. Suffice to say they were transplanted twice before the second set of fan leaves started) what could be causing that? Or do you think this is doomed to fail? Throw out your thoughts! Ill keep this updated if it strikes anyones interest! Pics attached!

Those few with the weird leafs looks like light/heat burn, may want to raise their lights a few inches. Look into a larger light for flowering. When you switch lights to 12/12 they will flower, all depends on how big you want them, remember most stretch at onset of flower so they gonna be maybe 2xs as tall , strain dependent. Hope this helps some

Thanks for your thoughts and input guys! I'll definitely try to take some steps to help them when i flower, though im not sure when i should. Its a very sort of lets see what happens grow but i know that when they flower and get larger im hoping to get light bars and more hanging lights to accommodate. Im not sure if they are male or female though. With a space restriction im wondering if i should just flower now and well...see what happens

With photoperiod plants, they won't show sex til they're large enough and ready anyways.

Oh i see. So where does an 18/6 light cycle come into play? Or is it even necessary? Im just on the 24hrs but i thought about going 18/6 rather than 12/12 to at least promote pre flower

18/6 or 24/0 they'll just veg. Plants sleep even if the light stays on. Saves some electricity though so I say always used 18/6. They're gonna sleep either way. You can tell when they are by the drooping they do during it.

Interesting. I have noticed that they droop and raise randomly. I know they do it when they need water sometimes but i know for certain tgese dont and wont need water for a while so it must be that. I might do the 18/6. Gotta pic a good time that ill want to turn them on and off

That's what they do Brutha. You'll see that even if you left your lights on 24/7, the plants still do need their sleep. And they'll do it with the lights off or not. Just like when us as humans are super tired, We don't care if the lights on, were goin to sleep. Lol

Thanks I see so much w people that want to diagnose this and that w older methods tried and true but it’s a new age and people are running newer gear all the searching and I finally found what I believe to be the answer and I’ll explain why I think it is the dli they plants are healthy and doing fine when lights are on but the top of the soil pant doesn’t fade or droop the whole I have really seem to push as far as par PPFD goes I’m going to raise the lights 3” and also dial down the intensity and change the cycle of the light 18/6 to 16/8 I feel if he giving free plants exactly what they are wanting it has to be the dli as I have two different stains doing this thing at same time as well as a seedling doing the same thing and some of the problems w high PPFD etc I’ve seen in here described I have such as leaf formation on one the plant usually go dead around lights off and come on after the light last come on meaning they are reaching photon limit I am do for a watering today do I will take care later on while I don’t know this to be answer it is hitting all notes as far as what’s going on thanks for all the help this site has been more productive than the other I’m on @Airwalker16
