Thank you for clearing up my ignorance on this subject ;) btw what airport do you live by? I may have heard of it :bigjoint:

I want to agree with you. However we all are aware how the current laws are followed. I know for a fact people down here will shoot at it. Hell I would be tempted to try to wing one! Now I know we have cloaking ability but for package delivery? I also know the pizza delivery guys might have a dog in this hunt LOL I must admit we live in some exciting times.
yeah i'm sure people will shoot at them regardless of the law, however i am also sure amazon will come up with something to combat this. maybe have a camera on each drone recording 360 degrees around them and the recordings be on a live feed that is downloaded and stored when the drone shuts off or something idk..the people working for amazon are some smart folks and you better believe they've thought about people shooting at the drones before deciding to take this idea seriously.

guns + weed = Fire-and-Forget technology

I think this would last a week before there's a bunch of packages dropped on the highway and drones stuck in trees and power lines... its a dumb idea for amazon. It would be a better idea for a local courier service to deliver urgent mail, papers, medicine and other light weight stuff.
