hey guys.
i brought the big clone from the back, the un healthiest GSC and smallest hollywood kush
outdoors to try to make it in the great outdoors lol. was just getting too crammed in there.
figured its a win win. i get more space. and ill have a sample of the hk and gsc in like 8-10 weeks
cuz its flower time out there. thats assuming they live through the transition.

but ya both gscs i topped that didnt react are weird. ill post pics later or tommoro of my fav GSC.
topped it and it looks awesome. but no new growth from the top and its been like 5-6 days.
all the others have FAR recovered. and i dont necessarily mind it i mean it looks awesome still.
1 of the 2 that didnt respond i cut down another like inch not even @ a node , inbetween 2
so its just stem as if i was gonna mainline. did this because the node where i topped
initially had some fucking MONSTEROUS fan leaves blocking the 4 other nodes trying to take over
so i figured ill stop the growth for good.

Hey, I am thinking about buying a tent...I saw your in a 5x5. I am torn between a 4x4 and a 5x5...any comments on yours to help me decide?

Papa the coverage of the light you have is probably foremost.

I have a tent that is just a shade under 5'X5' and a single 600W is not
quite enough to fully power it. 1000W would be perfect, and maybe a
tad overkill. I get a bit ahead of myself here.

Good luck,

JD

Yea a 1000 watter is what I have. I feel silly running it in a 2x4 area when I know it would cover a much larger area. I have the space, so thinking a tent is in my future. One of my army buddies just had his leg amputated and wants to invest in my grow and have me grow for him, thinking his investment might be a tent. What brands do you guys recommend?

I honestly dont know the brand of mine but go eBay I got mine which is 5x5x like 7.5ft and I paid $160.
I have a single 600 w and its doing pretty good vegging them
But got a 2nd 600w for flower so 1200 wants will be killing it come harvest

Hey bro, Just want to give you some advice on the GSC. I have been running it for about a year now and I find that some phenotypes are really nute resistant. I haven't exactly dialed in what im over feeding it with but the best way to go with this strain is to dial back. I went from feeding 1500 ppms to feeding 1200 ppms every other day with water in between. They also don't take well to topping in my experience and the best way to go is to get as many as you can in one space. They grow lanky with smaller but super dense buds and if your temps drop enough at night they will purple up on their own very nicely. A really good strain but not so beginner friendly.

Big One
-From Clone
My nutes for big grow - Heavy 16 line with a Bio Extract, Snow Storm, Bud XL in rockwool cubes (the tiny ones)
outcome - lanky, small buds, some plants burned some plants didn't. Smoke was amazing still though.

Personal
From Seed
My nutes for smaller personal grow - Fox Farms organic line, ocean forest soil, superthrive, bat guano, something similar to bud candy cant recall name.
outcome- leaves were perfect dark lush green the whole time from day 1 to day 67, super tight buds purpled up in a beautiful flower sort of way I dont have a macro lense unfortunately.
- low ppms for food, also did water like 3 days a week.

Hope something in there helps :) Good luck!

oh and look out for a strange occurrence in the gsc, the leaves may grow buds on them. I shit you not... it is the weirdest thing. Also watch for Herms!

thx couch for taking a look and the advice. and ya i see they dont like being topped lol
that im sure. and that would be really cool if the leaves got buds. but i dont think the temps
will drop for the purple to pop out. except for the one i threw outdoors. she should
experience maybe low fifties b4 she harvests. i will definitely go light with the nutes
on everything definitely till flower. there growing crazy enough as is. i have 60-80 days
until the autos harvest and im hoping by that time my plants can still fit on this table
under the light.

than once the autos harvest i would like to remove the table and flip the light
and let them babies flower upppp. idk if size will permit that.

im really worried about my autos being like 40-20 days from finishing
and my other plants getting to the size where they HAVE to be flippped to
12/12 but i cant cuz the autos need 19/5 i heard. any info/suggestions any one.
i know i could throw all the plants outdoor for a while as it shoudl be 12/12 than outdoors
but obv that would be a huge unneccesary risk to move like 6-7 full grown ladies
out of their climate.

This is right now my favorite plant. Gsc #3.
Topped it and the picture shows no new growth
From the topping point but than the other pic is
A top shot and she's beautiful lol

Cant tell for 100% sure but it looks like you took the whole node off, which won't regrow.

What it looks like is you cut too much off, and took the whole growth nodes. So what it looks to me like, is it took the next lower node and made that your main cola.

These sort of timing issues are really hard to nail down.

Good luck,

tell me about it JD. far from setting up another tent with the 600W instead of running 1200W in the veg
i havent thought of a reasonable solution.

plan b would b to take all the GSC and HK and move em outdoor while the autos finish up. but in 50 days well be in the 60-50 degree
range and like i said i would really be risking hurting them .

60s wont hurt the plant, thats the temp range that really brings out those nice purples. 50s is getting to be to low though, they will creep to a crawl growing in that low of temp.

Ya I know but moving plants that have grown up in 19/5 light
For the first 2 months of life won't fair too well being thrown in 12/12 maybe even
11sun/13dark and the temp change u know? Would prolly be too much for em.
Maybe I'll top all the heads of the autos
In like 2-3 weeks. It'll be a win win.
Stunt the growth while
Adding bud sites :).... what uu guys think
Of this plan lol

:D lookin good dude, FYI my temps stayed roughly the same the whole grow and it seemed to purple up for me automatically. Good luck man I'm so excited to see them finished!
