American Education System

Just Remember UB,

Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.....O.W.

PS: I don't mind you quoting me at anytime, as long as you quote me verbatim. If you cannot do that, then you surely show me that you are intimidated, and I do not wish that in any way.

Dear UB,

Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.

You are batting a 1000 on that .

The education system in America is failing to properly educate the youth. When compared internationally, American students test lower than average compared to students from other countries. And despite the fact that more students go to college now than ever, there is no longer a guarantee that their college degree will get them a job (unlike how they teach people in school that the only way to get a good job is to go to college). In fact, many entry level jobs require a person to have some work experience in their field before they will hire them. But if a person can’t get hired with just a college degree, how are they supposed to get any job experience? Many college educated adults fall into this pitfall, and either end up unemployed or employed in a field completely unrelated to their degree. In addition, with so many people with college degrees, there is now that much more competition in the job market. So, is there a solution?
1) throw more money at it
2) make it easier to get good grades (dumbing down)
3) throw more money at it
4) empower the teachers' unions
5) throw more money at it
6) raise the costs of college education by offering more and more easy to get but hard to pay back loans
7) throw more money at it
8) raise the children's self esteem to the point where they won't feel so bad about being so stupid
9) throw more money at it
10) focus on how to be a good subject; complying with authority without question; reinforce faith in government

All a curious person needs to do in order to ascertain the cause of the decline of the USA's school system is to scrutinize the difference in quality of America's public school education before the advent of the noxious and destructive influence of UNIONS. Teachers unions were largely nonexistent before the early 1960s..... good job unionized teachers....way to go! :eyesmoke:
teacher's unions are at the lowest rate since the 1930's waffle.

more FAIL from the eternally butthurt, fox news parroting crowd.

I hope you're not holding yourself up as a example of good education because you are stupider than shit neutron
hey neutron, do you rent or own?

if you own, you should look into a reverse mortgage. you shouldn't have to live out your dying years smoking brown cartel schwag and banging mustachioed hookers, you deserve better. especially considering all you have done for this great nation, such as being angry and delusional, patronizing hookers, and smoking brown cartel schwag.

you've earned it, gramps.

Well Mr. Salesman,

I would be absolutely curious as to how much income tax you paid in last year, if any. I mean you and not the woman who supports you. You bring little to nothing to the table on roughly 95% of your comments.

I feel very safe in saying you have little to no self esteem and cannot bear the thought of someone having 1 up on you. If they do gain the upper hand, you simply fold up like a dishrag and start name calling, editing posts and carrying on like a 10 year old on the school playground that just got his nose squished by a little girl that you called stupid for not playing by your rules.

Although I do find a bit of comically cynical notes in some things you post, the bulk are still way below your supposed years. I know you enjoy it, because you are well versed in lameness and utter idiocy.

Look forward to your responce.

1930? I find that hard to believe. As more states adopt the policies allowing teachers a choice the numbers have dwindled (imagine that), but since 1930? It could be right but I would need proof to believe it.

the funny part is the irony of you bashing me for picking on people, and you littering the whole rant with insults.

stupid people don't know when they're being stupid because they're stupid.
