I just finished up the second season last night, and I still don't know what to think. They gave neat little happy endings to a lot of people, and wrapped a bunch of stuff up not leaving too many loose ends. I still can't figure out wtf the season was all about though. It all seemed so random, like there were far too many unrelated subplots all happening at once. What the fuck were the aliens about? Why the whole anne frank subplot? What she really anne frank, or just crazy? She seemed to legitimately recognize arden as a nazi dr. They played up sister jude killing that girl in the car crash...then she wasn't dead, wtf? I thought they stated pretty clearly that it was a fatal hit and run, and then she turns out to be alive? Or was jude already crazy at that point? Why the whole demonic possession? What the hell did it have to do with the overall story? And why after all the obvious magic we saw (the possessed eunice could move objects and even throw people around violently with her mind) she can't stop herself from getting killed? How could the demon be so easily vanquished and why?

I guess i'm just still confused. It seemed like they rolled 10 stories into 1 and didn't even connect them except for superficially because they happened to take place to the same characters.

Overall I am disappointed with this season. I enjoyed season 1 so much. I had to suspend disbelief for the premise of season 1, but at least it was a cohesive and coherent story.
