well that sucks, sorry for your loss, taking a chance on some people isn't worth it. I think he had a bunch of his IC chums go around to the major forums and stir up some buzz. Or maybe he did himself. I figured heck, I'll give a canuck a shot. lol.
Went to his website and 90% of the strains that were there are gone now but every strain he has left has a ™ beside it. lsd™ painkiller™ etc,etc,etc lol. What a clown.
The guys on some serious greenhouse seed shit with his website, claiming to be the most highly awarded Canadian breeder when he enters bullshit "cups" and uses them as bragging rights, oh well everyone will know his deal soon enough lol.

Don't forget the Wins he claims for himself when other growers have grown it from seed to weed. Taking credit for genetics is one thing(credit where credit is due) but counting someone elses win as your own is another, I remember someone bringing this up on IC before

My buddies met him and at the tty expo and purchased his lineup at the time. Apparently he talks a good game and probably believes half of the shit he spews. I can't hate on the conkusion tho. Ended up with 2 nice phenos. One super crystall coated, one great yielded and almost as snowy

I did alot of research on his strains and i was ready to go 25-50% my room with his gear. More research meant more bad reviews. I abandoned the idea for about a year and forgot about it and started looking in the OGR, Rare Dankness, DNA/RP...you know, the guys with good reps and beans.
Fast track a few months and i was invited to the Karma Cup as a vip judge in Toronto. Tried alot of local product and a fair bit of BC product. Ofcourse he submitted a few and the ones he submitted were completely trash!!! barely trimmed beyond the fan leaves.
He placed both last places at 14 and 15.
We got a late entry at our table and word had it was a medman entry. Looking at the results it was the 2nd place indica winner infact medmans rockstar but not grown by him LOL it deserved 2nd/1st
I got a free pack of his conkushion sitting around i may try one day but more excited about the free Jordan of the island god bud seeds we got.
Anyways to make a long post a little longer, everyone says he talks shit and its true. His ego is larger then the room. He thinks only what he does is the right way. The douche bag even went on IC saying he had his product curing for months then when people flamed him for the trim job he said he just finished the crop LOL then he got called out and changed the story to "i thought it was a medical cup not recreational" gtfo here guy. Even went as far as claiming pedros 1st place special kush. Pedro made a IC and set em straight with that one.

probably they entered the rockstar cut, which MM claims is super rare, but in reality is one of the most common cuts going in BC..
my buddy on the coast bred the special kush long time ago, long before there was a med man.. it's from an old island cut called 'queen' crossed with an Afghani.. I'd put it up against any of the fancy kush cuts it's solid

Buddy is calling himself med man yet he use to use Flower Dragon to grow his plants. LMFAO and then sell that PGR shit to med patients?
There are two "rock stars" going around GVRD area. Once is supposedly shorter more bushier and the one that 99% of RS growers grow is a lanky, stretches like hell 10 week strain. I believe originally rock star came from a group of guys who would sell you the kids and buy everything from you if you grew it a certain way. A know several people that deal with them and they were paying $2800 per lb when most weed was 2000-2200. The reason it was that high is because most guys had to cut down in 7.5-8 weeks so the hairs were still white and the plants didn't yield that much. Eventually that strain got out into the general public and people figured out it was a 10 week strain to get the full weight out of it.

There's is Bubba Kush here that is prone to bud rot and has big fat leaves. Maybe he got a seed of that since med man use to be in the same area as that strain.
