Amps

Whats good people.. Alright i am a long way from growing yet, but when i am able to i want to jump right into it. Here's my question i was looking at amp in some of my appliances and my little bitty 4 cup coffee maker is 5.8 amps or someth'n like that. I was just wondering how much high pressure sodium lights are... I know about 120 volt and 240 but i am no electrician.... My 2nd question is how much money did it take for you to set up a descent lil grow op. From a grow room, to timers, the whole ordeal.

I think i answered my own question with this.

watts=volts*amps

Or

amps = watts/volts

But what about the 2nd question.. How much did it take you to start your grow operation from scratch?
