AN additives wit subcools super soil?

Has anyone ever tried adding anything like voodoo , piranha or bud candy using super soil? I know it's a sensitive issue , mixing all the organic micros with synthetic stuff, and people say it kills stuff , but would it actually kill them all off by adding these types of stuff or make your roots grow like crazy and stay healthy? Does anyone really know for sure and has anyone ever tried adding these type of supplements?

Supersoil relies on microbial life to feed your plants. Adding synthetics will slowly dry out the microbes and then your plant will not absorb the nutrients in the soil as nature has evolved them to. Then you'll need to keep force feeding your plants until harvest which is fine but defeats the purpose of buying expensive organic soil to begin with.
Nutrients work best in a sterile medium like coco and organics work best with just plain water. Straddling the 2 is uber wasteful but lots of noob growers do it this way because they can't resist the urge to dump products with cool graphics on the labels thinking it's gonna make super dank buds when in reality compost & water is all they really need.

Y'all sound like my dad . All they use is chicken shit/kelp and Alfaalfa tea for veg and the cow shit tea for flower . And their growing trees , 7 lbs a plant . But that's outdoors in Cali, and I'm in BFE Alaska indoors with a 8 foot height restriction lol. I'm just trying my best to get 5 OZ a plant . So far 3.57 is the most . And that's with subs Supersoil. 60 day veg, 60 day flower time. One I had veg for 120 days and got the same amount as the ones that vegged for 60. Three plants to a 600w HPS , Intake and outtakes fans, temps in the mid 70's, oscillating fans. Dehumidifier. 7 gal pots.
I'm just trying to see what the heck in doing wrong.im growing high yielding pants also. Blue dream , super skunk, incredible bulk, blueberry.

Have you considered growing more plants with less veg time? I get a solid pound, pound and a half in a 4x4x tent with a 600watt cooltube using super soil. Blue Dream does great. 16 plants x 1 oz = 1 lb every 9 weeks.

Are you kidding me ? Dang . What size pots are they in, 3gal? And do you LST , top? Lollipop? I'd be willing to give it a try . Also, this might have something to do with it . don't k ow what's going on but I've noticed that as soon as I switch to flower , I start having issues. They look great and then leaves start looking like they are crispy on the edges, to the point that if I touch them they crumble. Then i barely make it to harvest it seems. Maybe I was over watering , maybe they red cal-mag. I don't know. I'm worried to add anything to this oil cause it supposed to have everything in it. I've never had a nice fade or anything. My room seems to have the perfect environment as well. Between 70 and 80, RH at 50. Intake and outtakes , so I don't know what's going on.one grow I didn't have the outtakes so I'm guessing that's the cause on one grow. But it was the same thing that has happened since I've started growing with super soil. Mmaybe im over watering, maybe I'm not watering enough. I'm using 7gal plastic grow bags and watering them now with 3/4 of a gallon of 6.5 ph rainwater. I'm not having any water draining out like I did last time. I thought maybe I was over watering last time and flushing it essentially . I'm about to flip some here in the next couple days and document it on here .maybe you all can help.

Never liked Sub Tools soil or the layering thing for that matter.......

Other then that. Adding back more, and a limited spectrum of bio's for that matter,,,along with a carb source from AN will do nothing for your organic grow!

If you want or worry about adding more living bio's - Use an AACT tea once a month...You don't "need" it and it may increase uptake too much with that soil you use, if there's any good Humic's added in the AACT - you will get too much uptake.

Last Blue Dream harvest was 1176 gm, under a 1K, from 4 plants in a 5X5 footprint - 5'+ tall. Used my own soil mix's. 1 for veg and I up pot from solo's to 1ga, to 3 ga and then up pot at the flip point to 5 ga pots using my bloom soil formula and letting them sit in veg for 8 days and into the bloom room they go! I like higher K levels in veg and bloom and the bloom soil is higher in P. I slip in a bit of higher K AACT at week 5 of bloom....

Lollypopped - my way.

AACT tea.

I use a homemade vortex style brewer - search that here, there are several threads with the how too's I'm sure - or google it.

I like this formula
1/2-1 cup EWC
1/3 cup alfalfa meal
1/4 cup unsulfered molasses

5 gallons pond, lake, river, stream, or even puddle water.

Brew for 48hrs and use directly

For the higher K..... Have a source for organic K in a 0-0-3 liquid that I add to the brewed tea when it's done.
I'm a guy that does NOT add kelp meal or extract to the mix for brewing....It lowers living bio counts in the end product.
So, If I feel I want to add some kelp. I simply add extract to the finished tea.
