Out of the four two are yellowing so I'm going to up the food ratio before putting in the soil mix. When you coming this way you would want the kiananga x blueberry for sure.dirrtyd

I know man! I have been busy working and haven't gotten out to the Bay at all. I am going to try and get everything set up this weekend for transplant into the final pots. I still have to hit you up. I got a part time gig on the weekends now so time is tough to come by.

looking good man! just read the pages. I was wondering how much space you are allotting per plant? And how big are you hoping to get them?

Thanks for subbing up. Not sure how much space they are going to take. I'm going to give them what they need to stay healthy. My grow area is roughly 10' x 15' and I hope that it's packed in there come Sept. Not looking to pull anything crazy just beat last years yield and have a nice variety of meds for the next year. :)

I'm curious how you're gonna do. I've been eyeballing the maxsea myself and have actually picked up a few samples. It'd save me a fortune if I used it ;). Maxsea and epsome the doublejj special, btw where is doublejj ? I've been waiting for him to post :(

I love Maxsea and will be picking up some more soon just so I can start heavy dosing the a few of the ladies. I just fed them yesterday and hit them with some Safer and Sevin Dust. Here are some shots. I have 3 more that need to go into large pots (Bubba Kush, Ocean Kush and another Medi) but other than that this is how it's going to be give or take a few. :)

Here is my play area. I don't care what happens out here and anything that I yield will likely go to hash. So far in the pile I have blue Widow, Alohaberry, OG Truth, and 3 Burmese Kush seedlings that are looking really ragged. I think the Burmese were from a Hermi so I will be keeping an eye on them over there anyways. :)

I am not sure where DJJ is. I was supposed to help him mix up some Super Soil but I haven't heard from him for quite a while. I hope that all is well with him.

know you already said this, but i am baked and waaaay to lazy to go find it again. What size pots you running this year and how big are you hoping to get your plants?

Do smart pots enable a larger plant than in a regular pot of the same size, since they can't get root bound with the natural air pruning smart pots do?

Yea I am really torn about how many plants to do...I have my card and gonna have my wife get her card, but i feel it might just be better to run 12 outdoors and stay well inside the law. Especially since i have the indoor grow going on to. IDK though. I mean twice as much bud would be pretty damn great. But thats also way more risk of jackers, and of pissing my neighbors off.

Don't run too many back there. I would stick to your indoor and run some "tests" outside. Remember you are using the sun as your light and too many can quickly turn out to be unmanageable. I ran way too many last season and I have too many now so I think that I am going to cut it back to 9 and my heap in the back.

Thanks for the link, ABM. I emailed them and got this response :

Thanks for the e-mail. Yes, you should be able to grow a larger plant in a Smart Pot when compared to a plant grown in the same sized plastic pot. In the case of vegetables, you should harvest more vegetables.

Concerning moving the Pot, the Smart Pot is easy to move around, depending on the size and weight. But moving a plastic pot might be a little easier. Perhaps plastic pots have us beat on that score. I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for being a customer.

Sincerely,

Kurt Reiger

LOL Thanks for that John. :) I figured they would say "larger plants" but I didn't want to start a container war. :)

Jeep I will roll through there after I am done posting here. The biggest pot that I have used will be the 20 gals this season. I don't even think that the holes I dug last season would equal 20gals. so it will be interesting on what I can pull out of these.
