Angryblackman's Ugly Outdoor Grow 2011

Last year I had to spray spinosad directly into the buds because of all the budworms. Didn't have any budrot or mold issues, but it was outdoors

my uncle grows indoors and he sprays as well and hes never had a problem with mold or anything like that. i think as long as the humidity is low and u spray in the morning and let the sun dry them out u wont have a problem. in a greenhouse u might run across problems due to the humidity being higher but just straight outdoors ive never had a problem.

Looking nice ABM...
Your going to need to support those girls, if not they're going to fall over due to the weight of the buds. Once that sticky resins hits the dirt, tough as hell to clean.
That's the down fall of doing a good job on growing, everything gets heavy and wants to fall over.
Keep up the good work...

Thanks all for the kind words. :) I plan on stepping up the next two feedings with Maxsea and a shot of molasses and then nothing but water unless needed till harvest! I plan on setting something up for the tall sativa but I haven't figured out exactly what yet. It will need to happen this weekend though. :)

Hey ABM, I know you use BT (I think) for budworms, I have spinosad. For either, will spraying the buds in sun;light burn them or will they be ok? With my schedule dusk is hard to do, and I cant see what I am doing

my friend is getting killed with budworms in southern california now. He sprayed his plants last week with BT, but said he is still finding worms on them now...

ive read sunlight breaks down the bt,but farther into flower i would spray when the warmth of the day will help dry the buds.just my opinion tho.i spray as the heat is tappering off,but in morning on weekends when im home.

Found my first worm, way down on a flowering stalk inside the plant instead of the top. Soaked all my buds with spinosad, should be good for a week or so

I truly am pleased! I just need to get to and through harvest. I keep checking the Platinum Bubba Kush and it's almost ready! Just waiting for it to fatten up a little. I may just not feed her plan to chop this week depending on what my loupe says. :)

For those that are interested here is a thread I found on Redwood Kush from ICmag.

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=105092&page=1

I am looking for genetics on it as I am hoping to hit it with some Master Kush ball dust. :)

Looks like it's Master Kush x Woody Kush

Here is a review on Woody Kush

Man this has me excited! Can't wait to see what this this going to yield! Also noticing that the Redwood buds are fattening up. Time to start checking the trics on that as well. It's a fairly early flowering/finishing strain according to the review.
