they sent them to the ypsi guys too. they all said no thanks, i'm good. I have the feeling that the a2 ones will do the same.........what does your cunt, er, I mean boss, have to say?

ALL Michigan Dispensaries are now illegal as of April 1st...
ANYONE running or working at one should always be up on the ever-changing laws and amendmends being passed by our dictator-in-cheif Schnieder and his Nazi cohort Bill Schutte... BOTH who have sworn to do "everything within our power to see to it that marijuana does not get a foothold in our State"... (WKAR Radio-- 2012) That clip was re-printed all over the place--
What I want to know is-- since WE the PEOPLE Voted in the Laws- Who are THEY to amend them without putting the amendments on a ballot as well- and Where the HELL is NORML and the other Advocate groups during all this???

on a personal level, how do you feel being employed at a place that could have a raid coming any day, in theory? is it stressful for you or just old hat? I know how the owners feel, but not their crew.

Well our letter says to send em a business model that complys with state law by the 30th so if that doesnt happen we all not showing up i need to renew soon as well any know a DR doing em anymore?

I think $ 9.50 an hour is piss poor for having yourself in the federal files for life ! It is true , every Dispensary has been watched and are being monitored . To think otherwise is ludicrous $ 12 an hour is not worth the stamp for life or the high risk of being raided at home on top of it all !

mind if I ask you do they pay well ? that's a high risk place to work , also every one of those places got a letter, if there license with the state I would not worry about it. . if not I would not work there for a second, time to find a new job. I know the layers were in the place I might go big meeting 2 weeks ago , any ways good luck

The law was not amended to prohibit dispensaries. They have never been compliant with the law, and it took a while for the SC to rule conclusively. The amendments that were passed met the requirements of the Michigan Constitution, which permits amending a people's initiative with a 3/4 majority in both houses of the state legislature. Those amendments turned out to be relatively benign, given their original proposed language. Last summer multitudes of us lobbied the house to minimize their effect, and were pretty successful. Organized activist groups and individuals pitched in by phone, written communication, face time with representatives, and testimony during the public comment period in the judiciary committee. That is the nature of the beast.
