I've been searching the net for some time now. I need to find the best way to shop securely without the burden of big brother hovering over my shoulder, asking me questions. After 9-11,Pat. Act 1 & 2, & with the current pres in office expanding the Pat. Acts powers & reach. What is the best way to shop anonymously in 2010? Almost every pre paid credit card requires you to have a REAL name to match a REAL social sec. number. I have yet to find a True Pre pay card that respects it's customers privacy.
I know about International Money orders, Cashier checks all that mumbo. I need something worth while.
Please Help if you can.

you are probably talking about online shopping.

i just pay cash at the store.

but i have the luxury of living in the inner city and have a bunch of shops that cater to my needs.

i dont have a bank account so when i need to shop online i borrow a friends card and give them cash.

Are you planning on doing a major grow-op? If not, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I would pay more attention to hiding the odors so no one knows your growing. Best way not to get caught...don't let it be known that you're growing. Nothing you buy to grow is illegal, so once you have it just keep it quiet.

Buy your stuff from hydro shops where tons of people buy equipement for growing all sorts of stuff beside MJ. You'll be lost in the crowd.

I mainly need to shop online. Also because I'm buying the Full Meal Deal from BCNL.com
That's not a bad idea using a friends card.

True, But I'm going to buy the Full Meal deal from BCNL.com for 16k & I can't drive to Canada with a Truck to pick it up. Although that would work well & I could pay in cash. But that's a long drive.

money orders dont take to long im never in as much a hurry asmost guys. but i sent one to attitude from the states and recieved order in 13 days just a few weeks ago. thats all ive ever done before 9-11 untill now with every bank ive ever sent to m emery, heavens stairway,legends,seedsdirect,seed botique,attitude,and dr greenthumb. never had a problem. the only one that was slow was mark emery that was back when you had no other options.

I agree 100% i just started my first grow and 4 plants is nothing to be worried about. Like was said just keep it quiet and u should be fine. But if ur setting up a huge grow to never work again then you should find a friend to help you.

Try this...get a prepaid card, put a small amount on it ($20 or so), register it with a fake social and/or name, and see if it will work. I suggest this because I suspect that the prepaid companies are not actually running your name/SSN through a database to see if its legit, but they are just complying with the record-keeping requirements of the new regulations. If it works, then load more $$ on the card, if not at least you haven't lost much.

As an aside, I would be more concerned about having grow equipment delivered to my home. There could be narcs running mail cover operations (no warrant required) on the vendor. Or nosey neighbors might take notice if the package is delivered to your front step when you're not home. I know ppl say "if its not a large grow op, don't worry", but in my state cultivation of any amount is a major felony carrying up to 5 yrs in the clink. I took no chances. Even if you have to drive a ways, find a grow shop, pay cash and pick up your stuff yourself. Just my two cents.

Your right I've thought a lot about that subject in the past. I'm having everything shipped to a location in another state.

I went to the site and checked out the deal you are considering.

That is the first Hydro store I have seen which openly promotes cannabis growing. Good for them.

Canada really is different in that regard.

In the deal I did not see anything illegal. If they included seeds in the package, you might have cause for worry. But purchasing and owning grow equipment is not against the law. One or two people actually do grow hydroponic tomatoes.

I would simply use the pre-paid credit card. The authorities would have to jump through a shitload of hoops to get customer information from a private business in another country just to prove you bought legal equipment. Even if they we successful there, then they would need to supoena the records of the company which issued the pre-paid card to you.

Way to much trouble for one law enforcement agency to target one grower.
