Hows everyone doing here?? Last time I was on here I had a thread about over nuting my 3 plants. I started putting in just water free of nutes for a week or so then slowly started adding again. A few days after I started adding nutes I went on vacation for a week and had a buddy bbsit my ladies. He did his job fine but during that week the bud literally exploded and probably doubled in size and by the time I got home they were really weighing them down. I mean limbs were bending in half and the whole plants were leaning even tho I had rigged up with hangers and such. I basically let them get way too big for my space which was just a closet. They ended up being about 5.5 feet tall which was waaaaaaaaay bigger than I had ever planned. I realize I made some mistakes along the way but this was my first go ever soooo... Needless to say I chopped them when I got home from vacation and spend a number of hours the next day trimming and hanging and such. They have been hanging for almost 2 whole days now and I didnt know that they would dry out this fast. I thought they were supposed to dry for 7-10 days and then cure for a few. By the looks of it they are dry as hell and like crumble when :joint:(pinching them to smoke). The smoke is decent and I definitely get a lil blazed. I hear this gets better after they are cured tho. Basically my question is: Are they supposed to be this dry already and should I leave in full 7 days or what? Thanks for all your help everybody I learned everything I know from right here :)

P.S. heres a pic that shows most of what I have hanging. Skunk #11 Dutch Passion

The purpose of hanging buds to dry is to get MOST of the moisture out of them. I don't think that there is a fixed number of days that you have to dry them. Sounds like you're ready to cure them in jars if they're starting to get a little crumbly to the touch. Sweet looking harvest, well done!
