what derailed the train? perhaps it was the pressure which caused the cars to explode thereby derailing?

umm, no.

There has never been a burst oil tanker car that burst from internal pressure from any daytime heat or bright sunshine, in order for these to burst they either get punctured by another car hitting them or they sit in extremely hot fire for some time.

Trains derail because either there is damage to the rail, or the track has something on it that causes the train to derail.

Do you also think cars blow up when you shoot the gas tanks with a high powered rifle?
