That's what I was thinking too. Everybody is throwing around ppm numbers and we have no idea if they are actual or what scale people are using. EC keeps everybody on the same page.Try and use EC when talking about TDS(ppm). Makes life easier for everybody.
Your 1200ppm is prob different than my 1200ppm. But .4ec will always be .4ec.
Unless you have the exact same lights, exact same environment take anybody advice with a grain of salt.
Here is a really helpful chart to help read your plantsI'll post up what that is shortly. Here's an updated pic anyway

I use cultured solutions and so far have found the ppm value to be way too low.the products I use will list different specs than others but I do like to compare products.... here is my feeding schedule from cultured solutions
You should keep the EC and water levels as consistent as possible.I don't feed daily it's already in the water I usually only add nutes mid way through water change
I accidentally was using the drain to waste for the first 5 weeks of veg.....oops. no deficiencies there for me!I use cultured solutions and so far have found the ppm value to be way too low.
I am running 750 tds (500 scale) at week 5 veg and still have some deficiencies
You shouldn't need to feed daily to keep ec levels consistentYou should keep the EC and water levels as consistent as possible.
if the plants are locked out, the EC won't drop either. hmmmm...If your EC is right, it shouldn't be dropping
Thats why I shared the chart.if the plants are locked out, the EC won't drop either. hmmmm...
in a real world situation with individual buckets, EC will never remain the same for very long.
a slight daily drop of EC (and of course water level) is preferred by me. it proves they are eating. which the OP's plants are not.
agreed.A daily slight drop is ec is not bad for sure to see though, as long as it isn't 50-100 tds in 24 hours.
