Another GOP Candidate Weighs in on "The Rape Thing."

John Koster, a Republican congressional candidate in Washington state, said Sunday that "the rape thing" is not a good enough reason for a woman to have an abortion, the Associated Press reported. Asked at a campaign fundraiser whether he supports abortion rights in some situations, Koster replied that he only supports abortion in cases where a woman's life is in danger.
"Incest is so rare, I mean, it's so rare," he said. "But the rape thing-- you know, I know a woman who was raped and kept the child, gave it up for adoption, and she doesn't regret it."

He added, "On the rape thing, it's like, how does putting more violence onto a woman's body and taking the life of an innocent child that's a consequence of this crime -- how does that make it better? You know what I mean?"

I think Christopher Hitchens sums it up best:

Christopher Hitchens said:
Religion makes morally normal people say and do disgusting and wicked things.

Except Christopher Hitchens is against abortion. That fucks up your arguement. Hitchens thinks religion should have nothing to do with why abortion is immoral. So should libs abandone the golden rule because GOP says so too for Jesus?

Coming from a man that aborted two of his own children. Do as I say, not as I do.

Carne,
Ad Hominem. If you smoke out of a hole in your throut, and say smoking is bad, is it "still" logical to attack the speaker with, "do as I say, not as I do?"

Let's go all Sparta and if we suspect a baby won't grow up to be a liberal, throw it off the cliff! Hell ya!

I wish you had been aborted, you and your girlfriend NLX.

Unfortunately intelligence isn't prevalent throughout the trailerpark community.

You are truly Sparta. Throw me off that cliff because I'm not worthy and have a hunched back and imperfect form. Only brown eyed, black haired and gray faced people shall have rights. Diversity FTW!

That is incorrect. Hitchens was never against abortion.

Hitchens said he was for supporting unborn babies in the second/third trimester (does not logically follow that he is pro-life).
At the same time he said that, he did not see problems with medically justifiable reason for abortion, or due to rape.
So you see, your entire argument is false.
You can't just take information and twist it around to mean whatever you want and expect people to believe your bullshit.

Oh and btw Hitchens is dead, I'm not sure why you refer to him as if he's still living.
