So he popped them and DIDN'T find seeds but DID see the white hairs, and that means it's a hermie???News to me.But seriously though in those pics there is not one pollen sack.
Those are the calyxes that show up during preflowering. They always mature faster than the rest.
did you read my quote before you posted? apparently not, he said a green/white BALL, which is what i was talking about too, that sounds like an immature seed to me. and i see no pollen sacks, i already agreed with that but that doesnt mean it doesnt have one that he didnt take a picture of, does it?

alright, i'll explain this better, from the info he told me it sounds/sounded like he popped a swollen caylx and had an immature seed pop out(the white/green ball). he might not have a pollinated plant, but from what he said i can draw no other conclusions. maybe its not, im not there at his house checking so I go by the info im given.

Huh??

Yes I did read your quote and you asked how do we explain him not finding seeds, seeing white hairs AND finding the little green ball. And to tell you the truth none of the three means it's a hermie. If those little green balls are seeds then that would mean that one of the plants in his room has hermed out but not necessarily this one.
IMO this plant is not a hermaphrodite,he has taken photos of where the male flowers emerge and I couldn't find one in the pics.
Anyhow I'm not here to argue with you, just trying to help.;-)
