Another Newbie Lesson Learned

I am a Newbie/Noobie, however you want to spell it. Up to a 8 weeks ago I had never seen a living cannabis/marijuana plant (I am no spring chicken either). I had seen lots of pictures, but not a living plant up close and personal. My sense of smell was once gone but now I can detect scents slightly. If I can smell somethng, it has to be awful strong. I have been smelling this pungent scent in my house, and when I go in my grow area it seems stronger. At first I thought it was the heat from the lights on the reflective insulation that I am using. I totally understand now why people have carbon filters. My 9 week old plants stink! Another first hand lesson learned about growing.

Get a carbon filter or make your own for 10 dollars better safe than sorry

where the hell is roseman anyways??? following his advice i yielded more than an oz with 3 CFL's, a small gallon planter, a cardboard box, and patience my first grow.....

I was just in the Grow store today and I saw that stuff, Ona Gel. I didn't know what it was because I was asking a lot of questions and getting suggestions. Thanks for the advice and the link.

I took the plants out of the grow area to take pictures. So what you are seeing might be a reflection from the mirror or part of an artificial plant on the counter that I tried to coverup.

I think that I will try to make something and if that does not work, I will certainly have a carbon filter for my next grow attemp. Thanks
