ok so again looking all through this site i havent found my answer but i have a feeling what it could be. so the question being: what is flushing the soil? is it just overwatering it to clear out the current nutes? anyways if someone could let me know because i may have to do this to one of mine.
thanks

yes,but flushing is for hydro, in which case it grows in a 'medim'...if you're growing in soil you don't flush(unless you over fert with chemical ferts).go organic!

If you are growing in soil and you need to flush, I use a ratio of 3 to 1 meaning if your using a 5gal pail for growing, flush with 15gal of water.

you only want to flush you soil if you made some mistake with your nutrients.
Also the term flushing your soil is used for only giving your plants plain water(ph adjusted) with no nutrients so she can finish up most nutrients left in the soil.
But this is the same amount of water you would give them normaly.
which in the end will result in a smoother smoke.
Flushing your soil with lots of water is not recommended.

thanks all. i think my one plant is dying, all the leaves are pointing downwards, i give it a decent water supply every few days with minor nutes 1/4 of the recommended amount to 1 litre of water, i hope she pulls through.

1/4 strength is what everyone seems to think is best for nutes to start out with. Is that everyones opinion or what?
