hey,i have a problem. My plant is 3 weeks old and the edges of its leaves are starting to get yellow-brown probably by acidic soil.the ph is around 5.4-5.6. how should i apply the lime in the soil of a growing plant? just mix the lime with water and give it to the surface of the soil or should i mix the soil with my hands or a spoon after watering it with the lime? Also how much of lime should i put in a single 8L pot?

Sprinkle the lime on the surface and work it in as much as you can. It's best if you add it to the mix before use though.

Don't bother putting it in water, most of it will just end up at the bottom of the watering can. It's crushed/powdered rock and doesn't really dissolve. This is also why it's best added to the mix before use. It takes a while to work its way down.

"I" use 2tbl/gallon of mix. 8L is ~2 gallons, so 6-8tbl should do you just right.
