ya but may not be enough. but wont harm shit. those valueline are same as what i posted in a few of them links. they are the cheeper kncok off version of the vortex. i know a few using them and havent heard any complaints.
i have the real votex at 6 inch as well and was about 260 buk. and has 452 cfm..so your ahead there. when you can i would get the 6 inch hose as most equipment is in that size.

well then should i do the opposite and put increaser/reducers on the hood from 4" to 6", run 6" line. I could almost get everything i need shipped for $160. I ended up finding it online for $80 And would add this 160 cfm in-line duct fan for intake.

alls i ca say is propertyroom.com good stuff all grow room inpounds shearch ballasts.

150 for a good used setup is good, i built my room with used ballasts, and i have 2 extra of wach mh/hps, and extra bulbs.

600 is what u want for 3-7 plants keep um close dont spread them over a 5x5 at most and rotate outer to inners and vise versus.

I think i have got it together now. I ordered the 435 cfm fan but it probably wont be here for a week. I can get the ducting, reducers and the 160 cfm fan tomorrow. Its the first week of flower, so would that fan hold me off for a week, keep the 1000w bulb cool if i have windows and doors open and venting that way? I just dont want it to blow up and start a fire or something.

Lets say for one or two plants what fluorescents would be good for veg. And maybe a 250hps bulb plus some cfls for one plants. 400hps for two?

you wont have a fire from heat from the room if it gets a bit hot. just if its not set up right like over loading electrical lines

to blower there is no set plant count. depends on strains and style of grpows as to how many you can get in there. ive run a 430 watt and had 8 under it and still pulled 2 oz dry each. and was not a very good grower at the time. was with a chemo strain

I was 8-13 oz's total for the light. Sometimes more and sometimes less, but generally in that range. With 3 plants you'd have to veg them pretty big. Under a 600w light I grow 6-8 plants, under a 1000w light I would do more like 8-10. But you could do 1 or 100, it's really going to depend on how you want to get it done. My point really was just that going cheap on equipment (especially fans) can REALLY burn your ass later on down the road when you come home and the junker has stopped. Sounds like you found something that will work for you though.

Well i ordered the 435 cfm fan, will be here mon. Also went today and got ducting and a 180 cfm in-line fan for the intake. Decided since its getting colder out i'm getting air from outside and putting it back outside. This is how i have it now but it doesn't make sense now for some reason lol. Thoughts and opinions welcome!

Just from doing this, it was 80 degrees now its holding 72-74. Cant wait to see what the bigger fan will do.


Also, just to make sure im doing this right. Im going to want the 180 cfm fan (intake) blowing at/through the hood then for exhaust have the 435 fan sucking air out of the hood? Heres also a pic of what i got in my head from what ive been told.
