Any 3D Gurus OUT THERE ?

It's not about using scrap parts, but about using screws instead of clunky bits of plastic to connect nice pieces of brand new aluminium.

My point is that have seen some frames with chunks of plastic holding the aluminum together and personally I prefer screws. Both for the looks and the strength of the frame.

Still, I'd love to see a frame connected with plastic chunks that actually looks nice. So prove me wrong then :)

Although I'm working on the most ghetto looking bit of "steampunk design" for my next fixture, so who am I to complain ;) With 3D printed parts on it as well though.

Been running my 4cob setup with 3d printed frame connectors for a bit over a month now. Screws are way quicker/easier for sure, but it was only about a day of print time. (2 pieces at a time ~6h a print) This is PLA at 50% infill, it is very solid and the fit is super tight. I tried some lower infill as a test but they did not survive the mallet.
