Whats up RIU. I have had two successfull grows in my apartment closet and I just had the oppurtunity to purchase my first house. I have a 400 watt hps and a 350$ budget. The house i just purchased has a detached two car garage. I was thinking of growing in due to limited closet space in the house. My question is what is the best way to go about spending my money on my new grow equipment. My ultimate goal is to have two separate grow chambers. Thanks. If i was confusing or left anything out please let me know. I just dont wanna go crazy at the grow shop and get a bunch of stuff i really dont need thanks again.

Since your budget is pretty low, and your space is high, why not drop $200 on a 1000 watt light for flowering (a 400 watt isn't much cheaper) That will leave you $150, which is enough to make a 5x5 ebb and flow table. With nutes, you might go like $50-100 over budget. Clones are gonna have to go in front of the window for what your looking to spend, but flowering is where it's won or lost, so that's what I'd focus on - you could be pulling 1-2 pounds a month with this setup.

thanks for the response my grows have been both ffof grows. I dont feel comfortable enough to start a hydro grow just right yet. Also this would be a personal grow 1 to two pounds a month seems like a lot of weight to have on my hands seeing that most of it would just be sitting? any suggestions on where the best priced tents would be i was thinking the mother keeper set up from htg.com and just building some sort of cab with my 400hps for flowering? thanks again for the help bro maybe one day ill be able to be on the lbs scale not for now tho.

i would build beds out of scrap wood you find on craigslist and buy a 600 to go with your 400. maybe a double 6 if it is cheap enough. i would buy some t12 shop lights from the dpot for 15 bucks for veg and use the rest for soil. good luck and congrats on the house!!!!

Well Im just going with the original tent from htg supply getting another 250 hps for veg and a single 6 inch 250 cfm inline fan for ventilation. You guys think this would be suffiscent enough for air flow? the tent is 22 x 36 x 72
