this is my first grow. I'm using a hydroponic cab mixing DWC and topfeed. I planted 5 Fruit spirt, and 3 Jacky White. they all have sprouted but 1 of the jacky whites kind of sprouted funny as you can see in the picture. does anyone know what this is? also it gets kinda warm in the cab (at the most 85F) any ideas on cooling it down in there? my ppm is staying pretty consistant around 60, and my pH is staying around 7-7.5. are these good levels? any advice or comments are appreciated!

im using a dual 90 LED light (so 180 watts i guess). it gives off little to no heat. the light is currently 8 inches above the top of the tallest plant and 12 inches from the base of the plants.

5.5 - 5.8 for the ph... 7+ is way way too high, don't know if thats the cause of the problem or not though... light height seems good, and the temp could be a little cooler, but its not dangerously high or anything. If you're using LED's then you must be ballin :D maybe pick up a window unit / portable unit AC to help with temps... or one of the those ionic fans.

well i was wrong and the ph is at 6-6.5 and i accidentally wrote 7.7-5. and its funny that you said get a window ac unit because I JUST put one in there and opened the doors so hopefully it'll cool down in there. do you have any idea about the picture? why would it come up in 2 like that? I've read that this can grow and can produce buds but im not sure.

the led light is red. red light is for flower, u need blue leds, for veg, unless your flowering from seed?
led lights need to be 1inch from plant , touching even, no more then 3 inches, thats why its streching

that light is 80% red light for flowering, all flowering lights have some blue light to help with groth, you wont 80% blue with some red.thats if your still veging
