Any AK 47 left in the world?

I have been trying to find AK 47 seeds and they are out at SOS and Attitude. Anyone know any reputable seed banks that might have any? Thanks.

I grew a Fem. Serious Seeds Ak-47 and I didn't really care for it.I got a damn good yield off of it though. I got close to a QP off of her. The buds were crystal coated, but the potentcy just wasn't there. Plus the taste was kind of bland. It may have just been the pheno I got, because I only grew the one plant out. I have heard several people say the exact same thing as me though. Anyways good luck!

Its like any other strain. Gotta keep looking for that specific phenotype. Its out there from Serious. I also only grew out a limited number and never got what I wanted. Im sure it was my doing to a point though.

There is really only 1 pheno of of serious ak47 that everyone is looking for. It is the cherry pheno. Beyond that if you get serious ak you will not be disappointed. I am 2 weeks from harvest on my second grow myself and the first grow I had no cherry phenos. This grow I may have found the holy grail. Too early to tell though. They all smell absolutely delicious though. If you grow it perfectly you will have grown some of the strongest bud ever known to man. If you get that cherry pheno from a pack then you will potentially be growing the best bud man has smoked. Either way all the phenos are stronger than most of the garbage floating around.
Also a strong feeding late in flowering is 1.1 EC. It is really easy to over feed them. Otherwise they are really easy to grow.

Good luck finding it.

This is what Simon (owner of Serious ceeds and breeder of AK-47 has to say on the topic. He's being very diplomatic here, but he's basically saying he's never seen a "cherry" pheno of AK47 and is a bit skeptical that it exists at all:

About AK47 Cherry Phenotype

About the Cherry pheno in Ak-47 I'm not sure what to answer. You could say this is something which started on the net between people who grew Serious' AK-47. Several growers agreed that a certain type of the AK-47, which they grew and smoked, has a very sweet and cherry-like taste. Other growers seem to recognize this taste and smell, and so the 'Cherry AK-47 phenotype' was born.

As you might know it is very difficult to discuss tastes or to name, describe, a smell or taste objectively. Consequently I don't know exactly what they mean when growers talk about this. Some friends once tasted what a grower called cherry taste and said that you have to use a bit of imagination to recognize it. But was what they tried a real 'Cherry' AK-47 or was it just a close sister? So, we don't really know if what 'they' name cherry would be recognized as a cherry-taste by others, or not.

I have seen on numerous occasions that when people were smoking something, that several people named the taste different from the others; spicey, sweet, fruity, sandalwood, vanilla-ish, piney etc. all were used independently from each other. And who was right?

We have tasted many AK-plants, a fruity kind of sweetness is easily recognized in many of them, but we don't know which taste to call cherry. The total number of AK-47 seeds grown by growers worldwide is much bigger then we could ever trie in our test rooms, so the possibility that some find a rare and fantastic individual is very real. We get reports from people who claim to find Cherry-pheno's in every seedpack, while others say 1 out of a 100 plants is a Cherry. This alone shows that nobody knows what the other is talking about.

Nobody has showed us a clone so far of a 'Cherry', so the basic line is that there is no standard on what the charecteristics of the 'Cherry AK-47 phenotype' really is. But for us it is interesting to see that many people do find something which they are very happy with, and call 'cherry'.

So we think it is best to let growers carry on with this, as they certainly might be right. This is a myth of which it is not known by us if true or false. Several experienced knowledgeable growers think it is true, and others agree to this, so who are we to say they are wrong???

May be the only way to find out is to actually grow the AK-47 out yourself to see what YOU think.

Sincerely,
Simon

p.s. We are very much interested in getting clones from people who are certain to have a Cherry AK-47. This should lead to creating a standard on what the 'Cherry' pheno is. Till then we can only give the information given above when asked about the 'Cherry AK-47 phenotype'.

I thought tut was an S1 of an elite AK47 ?

I have had a lot of really fruity smelling AK. I could see someone describing it as cherry possibly but I'm not sure I would.

Homegrown fantaseeds "Armageddon" is one of my best plants, It's a AK47 hybrid with some asian sativa mixed in it. its pretty cheap over at Seaofseeds, around $80 for a 10 pack. fems and regular seeds are stable and vigorous. Smells Like limes, grows fast in veg, very good recovery when fim/topping and trimming. flowers between 7 1/2-9 weeks depending what you want. Looks like an indica in veg, flowers like a hybrid, nice big leafs sugar coated in trichs. Some girls can turn purple, standup plant that can take alot of abuse and not get stunted. grew close to 20 females and had 0 herms.

When independently analysed at Spannabis Barcelona in 2011 the results were 33% T.H.C. for Tutankhamon .

Tutankhamon was one of the very first seeds to be released from Pyramid Seeds, and is still considered by many to be one of the very best. This extremely heavy yielding plant remains fairly small and very bush like, producing classic Indica characteristics, while supplying lingering Sativa highs and very satisfying harvests.

Pyramid Seeds Tutankhamon has it’s genetics based deep within the AK47 lineage, therefore quality was never going to be a concern, combined with a sweet but sour taste, if you like a pungent, sweet-sour taste, get ready to mop up the drool!.
Pyramid Seeds’ Tutankhamon is a very small, compact feminized seed with lots of branches to hold her massive buds. With potential yields that can exceed over 500 grams per plant and soaring THC levels with can peak at 22%, Pyramid Seeds Tutankhamon is one of the best and most outstanding AK47 phenotypes available.

With such high production levels, and it’s soaring Sativa highs, its easy to expect Tutankhamon to require a longer flowering period, however that isn’t the case with with strain. Pyramid Seeds Tutankhamon matures in approximately sixty days, or 8/9 weeks from activating its photo period.
