Any complete soils?

I'm beginning another grow soon. This time I'm thinking 4 five gallon buckets in a 60 x 120 basement tent.

Are there any off the shelf soil solutions considered complete so nutes won't be need at all?
 
Instead of the tent I'd be willing to build a small room in the basement.

Is a room better than a tent?

Are there any inexpensive ($10 plug-in jobby) temperature controllers I could use?

I've seen the dawn to dusk controllers but haven't found temperature.

I am in the UK and the products available on there aren't the same as North America. I can get Fox Farms on Amazon UK, it is about the same as $100 a bag.

I use a tomato feed called Tomorite, it is available all over the UK and is very popular. People use it for just about every type of plant going, just change the ratio depending on what you are doing.

I have always been a salt Grower but I just did a test ran some plants with Michigan made mix soil but I did transplant into 5 gallon right before flower and did use a sweetener and some budswell tea they didn't turn out to bad

I would say this...if you want easy, check out the gaia green method thread.

You dont have to use gaia green, there are many organic brands that do the same thing.

With an initial soil mix of peat, perlite and some form of compost (say...worm castings), you can build a soil from basic home depot like store products and then just add more fertilizer with some castings as needed.

A small plant in a huge pot can go the distance but I want big plants so...
 
5 gallons is probably gonna be too small for a water-only grow. You need enough food to last the plant through flowering, without it being too hot in the beginning. It's easier to achieve that balance in something like a 15-gallon, basically the more soil you have and the shorter veg time you use, the better your chances of not having to add anything to sustain growth for 3-4 months.
 
I second the idea of going soilless like Promix, Hempy, or Coco.
The bugs were the main reason I stopped doing soil indoors, the stinky organic ferts was another.

I also noticed in Promix I could use about half the media to grow the same size plant.
