I agree! This is WAAAAYYYY too suspicious. This was a terrorist attack! The media is just trying to make it look like something unexpected because the White House administration wasn't doing it's job to protect the U.S. We've been infiltrated again. . .

Have any of you noticed that the few posts here that seem to support Obama and try to steer away from the idea of terrorism or the possibility that this wasn't just disgruntled soldiers only have had a few posts total on the site? I smell someone who is using multiple usernames.

Facts, A Muslim convert (maj Nidal Malik Hasan) entered a building which houses US soldiers either coming from or going to the middle east and shoots the place up. The man was a mental health specialist so I doubt he had a random breakdown and went on a shooting rampage, I'm calling this a terror attack.

Fact, it was the soldier readiness building. This is where soldiers coming out of their schooling go to be in processed. It is also where you go if you need a new id card, out processing, Immunizations, and a collection of other services. This is not where you go to be deployed and is not where you arrive after deployment, they use the gyms for that. That building does NOT house soldiers, it's a community service center for soldiers.

You don't know the guys story nor does the media. You can call the mall shooting in Nebraska an act of terrorism or columbine or Virginia tech etc but when it's American youth it's just a tragedy of a misled youth. Now insert an Islamic male and everyone wants to scream Terrorist. I mean seriously, are people this ignorant?

Considering the news was interviewing his fellow soldiers and they mentioned how he would say things like "the muslims should stand up to the aggressors and was reprimanded for saying similar things............

All were doing is considering possibilities, maybe you shouldn't be in denial and consider them also.

Denial? Why don't you take your own advice. Are we not the aggressors? Did we not invade 2 countries to which we never declared war on? Where are the WMD's? If they are non existent then why are we still there? What threat does a 3rd world country in shambles pose to us? We are in Afghanistan because of the "evil" Taliban government. What business do we have telling other sovereign nations what kind of government they can implement and doing it by force? Isn't the official documented civilian deaths in Iraq over 100,000? How many innocent people do you really think have been slaughtered? If we are there to help the Iraqis rebuild then why aren't we doing this to all 3rd world countries?

Now we have Iran bordered on both sides and they are talking about going to war with them. Debating imposing trade sanctions on them which will escalate us into a war. Meanwhile our Ally, Israel, has been carpet bombing, phosphorus bombing, and slaughtering Palestinians with technology and military equipment we supplied. They shoot a few rockets in retaliation and they are deemed as the "evil doers." I'm so sick and tired of listening to people brush over everything with simplicity. Islam Bad, America Good. Sometimes I wake up and honestly feel like I'm in the movie Idiocracy with peoples rationale.

Maybe the guy had family in the middle east. Perhaps they were part of the "collateral damage." I served a tour in Iraq and Afghanistan while being stationed state side at ft hood. I saw many things over there that you would not believe or be proud to be affiliated with. We have been fucking up people in Afghanistan for 8 years and Iraq for 6. How long do you think those people are going to stand having their lives ripped apart by American intervention until they say enough is enough?

I'm not picking sides here, I'm just laying out some facts. Personally, I think all religion warps the mind and don't condone any of it. You follow that path and all you are going to see are rigid dichotomies. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, sometimes it just comes out that way.
