So I just did a little research and found out that I'd need 14,400 BTU's of cooling for 4000w HPS light so with that being said you think one of these 14,000 BTU air conditioners could do the trick I might invest in 2 of them to be safe but what u think. I'm put a picture of it
Mini split AC!!

ok thoose things workout just fine, but noisy and needs carbon filter if kept inside tent.

I’m not familiar with inches and ft but i can calculate close enough. 8 tents sounds like alot waste of money and space, but thats just my opinion.

There would be many things i would change, but everyone’s different so im not saying anything about my fav setup or nutrients etc for situation like this.

add defoliation 2 times in veg (last few days before 12/12) and when you get 3 weeks flowering, i would recommend defoliation. Dont rip all your leaves but the big ones and try to trim lower budsites on veg phase because they aint going mature anytimesoon and will only waste energy.
You decide whetever u listen to me or not, but i can pull that out what you are looking for.

I'm going to take all your advice. Waste of space? Is this simply due to I just could forget about all the tents and set up veg room in my house without tents and a flowering room in another room of my house? Preshiate any advice I am trying to do this most effecient way possible I know it won't be perfect right off the bat just tryna get close as can to doing great with this in the future

Glad you are researching. That is the start. Just know that knowledge does not equal hands on experience or outcome.

My advice is great soil..lots of root room. Do not over feed or over water. Get a soil moisture tester. Sprout in small containers and gradually up pot.
Dont over do over defoliation. Basically dont over love the plants.

There are several amazing growers here...so ask questions.

Be humble.. there's only so much research you can look at. You'll be surprised how difficult and easy growing can be. The first grow you will be hesitant.. you will look at them for hours a day.. you will question your every move which leads to more research. It won't be easy pesie. Good for you that you're one of the few that took months to read before diving in. You seem to have everything you'll need for a successful grow. Don't set high goals for your first grow. More than likely you won't hit 10+p's. Not saying you can't or won't.. that's a hard thing to do when you haven't seen the plant growing under your care. Be humble, learn and get in there!

U know those are 5 things I'm definitely gone research so much more on. I think alot of growers don't research those 5 things instead they research nutrients , medium , light equipment , size tents , & water , pot size , & temperature/humidity's etc.. but forget about those 5. Those are really important too .

ofc keep the tent bro. tents sounds alot of work and carbonfilters humidifiers etc.

i assume that u already bought 1000w lights and
how about 4 tents?
U also

I assume you already bought 8 tents and 1000w hlights? Ofc u need a tent, but 8? So you want be harvesting all the time.
I also prefer for 600w mh/hps if there isnt co2 in the room. (2x600w) replacing every 1x1000w

you could do the same thing with 4 tents or even 2 tents.
every tent needs humidifier and possibly dehumidifier, Ventilations etc.
if iv had 16 plants and would want to harvest every month or so, maximum would be 4 tents but i could do it with two bigger tents.

young seedlings/clones that need bigger humidity, stays left side of the grow tent(or right) where the humidifier is and older plants further away from young plants.

same thing in flowering space, you can put them together in flowering room. Ofc watering ec will be different even if they are on same space.

I think y'all are right when y'all say start with soil I'm probably definitely gonna switch my medium to soil . I know I'm going to be good about defoliation and watering , i know better to not tweak out on those things . I'm going to buy a soil moisture tester . When u say small containers are u saying my original plan going from red solo cup to 3 gallon to 5 gallon isnt a good idea? Should I start smaller than 3 gallon or what? Just making sure. I'm glad you pointed out there are some amazing growers here cause I definitely could use that. I'll definitely be asking questions along the way. Thank u and anyone else so much

Are you looking to produce weed to sell or something?

I grow with a single 400w and it supplies me with more than enough smoke and plenty to try out with concentrates etc.

I do 3 grows a year approx and run 4 plants in a 3x3 footprint under my 400w light using coco.

day 51 of 12/12.

I’ve come to expect between 300-450g strain dependant and I run from seed each grow.DC01E41E-3AAF-46F1-BB65-FB95A8538E53.jpeg978635BA-C3DE-42AE-B24E-6409116A2837.jpeg8DB362BB-90B7-40C1-8098-DEE90C171B2D.jpeg8A189CC6-9425-4E28-B92D-8B78126B3A9E.jpegA77F4ED1-5863-4C48-B907-A9E83272C34E.jpeg85636D51-1C90-4EBB-8D53-56F7573DDEF1.jpeg

I have one 78' x 48' x 48' grow tent right now. . I'm moving into a new crib soon , a crib of my own all by myself. So once I move in ill have the room to dedicate 8 tents if I really wanted too. I plan to have 2 rooms in my house dedicated to growing (if I need more space I can make that work). My goal is to be harvesting multiple times a month and that's why I was thinking so many tents. I do have a goal eventually I want to be doin at least 30 pound a year with this setup after my first year of growing. I feel like 16 plants each havest gives me the right amount of trial and error to figure things out and be a stable yet decent grower within a year and 2 rooms gives it the space to thrive for the yield like Im trying to get at eventually. I'll get a humidifier and dehumidifier for each tent. If you have any other advice on how I should run my tents (what size, how many) with those lights then feel free give me advice. Any advice is appreciated from anybody. Also I stated in my post I would veg 2 months for the reason being I think that would give me the right yield I'm looking for with the space I have with those size tents from what Ive read but if you or anybody has a better veg time even if it's longer than 2 months as long as im hitting at least 30 pounds a year or more with the set up eventually I'm all ears.

I've read u just wait till 1 inch deep is dry with ur finger and if it is then it's time to water. That's with soil at least I read . Coco every 2-3 days I read I believe .
Once plants are established coco needs feeding at minimum once every other day.

ideally multiple times per day.

I like once per day.

Why in the world are you trying to setup tent city in your new house. 8 tents!!! thats nuts. Just build rooms, or use bigger tents.

You 100% need co2 if you want to max out genetic potential of a strain.

Dont expect anything special out of your first run. Focus on dialing in the environment and learning about how the strain you have feeds and what it likes, make adjustments. Next run do better.

Nice plants bro. And yea both I'll prolly keep a half pound to smoke on every 4 pounds to try out every strain but I will be getting rid of the rest within a month or two at max . I'm sure there will be times when my a friend wants 20 ps so at first it might be somethin where I tell em he got to wait till the end of the year until I get it all grown at first then get rid of it all one friend. That's all I'm be doin and hopefully get bigger crib , bigger investment , bigger yield but I do see where I'm going to have to duplicate myself at some point to get major weight but I'm do that later on after im real more experienced. Years later . I appreciate ur pics and reply tho because one day if I want to chill out one day an relax for a little that's all I would do prolly is some small set up like that to smoke on something rest of my life.
