Any good strain suggestion for a newbie outdoor grower?

I have a buddy who is currently living in Ontario and him and a buddy want to take a shot at growing a few plants outdoor this year. He knows that I'm a long term grower so he asked me for advice on a strain but the problem is that I've always been an indoor grower and haven't the slightest clue about anything outdoor related. I told him I would look into it though since he wouldn't even know where to start.

Do any of you outdoor vets here have any strain suggestions I could pass along to to him? He would need it to be something he can just order in seed form, from a reputable seed bank(preferably in Ontario as well, if possible). This will literally be their first growing attempt so something very forgiving and resilient would obviously be best.

And let's be honest, most first time grows turn out like trash lol. But if he wants to give it a shot then why not? It can be fun at first... before you know too much haha.
