Any growers in Puerto rico? is it the same as hawaii?

I lived in Hawaii and found it to be the same climate as where i live now puerto rico. So would it be the same thing, i am near near the equator. Can i plant it any time? cause i already did lol temperatures in the mountain i live in reach 80-90 degrees, not much humidity i get a nice breeze. 70's at night.

Its a us terrority, no passport needed! If some one knoced you over the head and trasported your body from hawaii to pr, you would not know the difference, except here they have no respect for their beaches. Over here things are way cheaper then hawaii. Economy is pretty bad as everywhere else, and crime is pretty high, more drug related then anything. Every one is an alcoholic, you go to thebeach every oe has a drink in their hands, thats where they dont respect the beach by cleaning after them selves, which angers me. I pick up every bottle i find in the water. other then that, spanish is the first language and english is their 2nd. which you find in the metro area, every one speaks english. I don't know any spanish, took the plunge, they have great surfs, known for one of the best surf beaches in the world.
