Just an opinion ... but I used to get that and upped my nutes a little ( I also use pureblend pro) ... seemed my OG needed a little more nutes.

They are in FFOF soil.

that's pretty odd.

for soil, i'm under the impression that 6.5 ph is ideal. i've never used foliar spray.

Is that some sort of light bleaching?? How far are your lights from the canopy? I can't really tell cause of the pic.

Light is 24 in from the tops. 400w CMH in a all in one fixture. Here is a couple more pix of the veg. And thx on the ph heads up that would be it. I bought a soil tester and it said 6.8 and I was like OH SHIT cause hydro is 5.8 target so I have been watering 5.8 ro water to try and lower it. Thx guys.IMG_20130108_105717.jpgIMG_20130108_105753.jpg

6.8 is perfect.. 5.5 - 6.0 for Hydro 6.5 - 7.0 for soil

plants look good I wouldnt stress it but I'd adjust that PH

No point in ph'ing your soil, nute solution, or runoff with a product like pureblend or any other organic bottled nute with soil as a medium. That's a good way to throw yourself for a trip. That is looking like a N deficiency to me.

I'm new to this idea of growing (only one year trying to streamline a micro cfl perpetual grow for personal use) but in my soil, happy frog, when I water over 6.5 my plants start to have black leaf tips and start showing cal. Or mag def. but high 5 and low 6's work wonders. I add worm castings, blood meal for veg, bone meal for flower, a little pearlite and dol. lime to my happy frog bags. (If adding any of this isn't worth the extra benefits plz let me know!!)

I apologize if I'm jacking this thread but I didn't want to make a new one when the topics being discussed here!

You use only water? Why is your ph fluxuating? You may need more cal/mag with certain strains as well if you are using water only, max dose doesn't even necessarily get me all the way there.

Older leaves are yellowing...

If it is not an N issue it is a CAL/Mg problem! Looks like a Cal/Mg issue to me!

N issues usually attack new growth first...

Your leaves look like they are praying which signifies wanting Mg. But Lack of or P lockout can cause issues that strongly reassemble Mg def. What do your stems look like?

Personal preference I suppose, I use the reverse canoe analogy for over fert so I guess the praying hands just keeps me from using the canoe term to describe multiple/ different symptoms.
