All plants in fox farms happy frog and this is the only one doing it. I think this may be a nitrogen toxicity??? My first time growing....they seem to be opening up slowly because some have and when they do they look alright but... idk... pretty sure this isn't normal.

I think you're right - temps 75-85 (it did get to 89 today somehow for about an hour) and i just bought soil ph tester....It's just 1 out of 5 plants too.... odd.. as i do everything pretty much the same for all of them
 
Definitely nitrogen toxicity and ph problems, temps should really be kept in the mid 70s for your first grow.
how long have you been using liquid nutes? What strength ?Are you watering to runoff to rid salts? Are you catching runoff and discarding?
 
to make it easier for us to help we need some info.. It looks like you are may be using the fox farms trio with it and at the strength listed on the bottles (just a guess) and letting them sit in any runoff..

we know your medium is Happy Frog, fill in the rest for us

nutes (which, how much, how often):
light: Bloom Plus xp3000 - 300w
light distance from plant and % (if it's adjustable): 20" away
temps: 75-85 (it did get to 89 today somehow for about an hour)

Soil - Fox Farms Happy Frog

Nutes - none

light - Bloom Plus xp3000

light distance - moved to 23'' last night (recommendation from Bloom Plus is 18-24)

Temps 75-85

RH - uhhh??? Humidity? Typically 45-55 - sometimes will slip to 35 if i leave the curtain open but ill put a few sprays from a spraw bottle in the air and the humidifier will turn on when it's less than 50%. I am growing in a closet in my office that i work out of so they get lots of attention.

Genetics -ilgm.com grandaddy purple

PH going in - haven't been monitoring. Using faucet water.... I just last night got a tub and got some water balanced at about 6.5 and will use that to water today and from now on. I have 6 other plants that are all the same, treated the same, and are perfectly fine which is odd to me....

On paper everything looks good or within an acceptable range. I would definitely start to monitor ph going In, try to keep the temps out of the 80s until you have a couple grows under your belt, use the dimmer to control temperature. Humidity isn’t terrible but for early flower stretch I normally like to see 55-60%
 
I do have the light at 100%.... it does get awfully hot so I open the curtain for 20 minutes or so to let it cool when needed. It can get up to 90 in there within a few hours if i dont watch it. No venting or anything yet but it's an LED light.... should I not be on 100%?
 
I am clueless how just Happy Frog could possibly cause that level of nitrogen toxicity..

What do you mean "no venting or anything yet"? Not that it could cause this but you always want some airflow both exchanging the air and moving the air around..

did someone pee on it, lol
 
Sounds more like where you have plant - stuffed into a closet with no air flow. Is there a fan in there to move air ? Nitrogen toxicity would increase if plant cant transpire properly.

Happy Frog is the mild version of Fox Farm Ocean Forest ( minus some amendments ) so most likely not that. It is also prebuffered for tap water. Soil probe is useless.

Show us pics of grow area.

And yes needs pee.
 
I got frustrated last night with the mylar lol I'll finish later. Fan above lights. Oscillating in the corner and a air purifier on the floor blowing up. What I mean no air flow yet is.. when I get a chance I want to cut a hole in the ceiling and put in ducting and run it to where the bathroom fan vents out the roof. So when the curtain is shut the temp doesn't rise

It has pretty much sat right next to this one it's whole life. Been watered at the same time, soil out the same bag...Everything i look at and research points to nitrogen toxicity... got the claw and everything.....but that i don't think explains the curling under like a mofo.....

Like buds said, there are many environmental conditions that can cause nitrogen to not be metabolized properly.
I would try and not push that one hard until you sort her out, I would look into fresh air exchange sooner than later, help keep a stable environment.
“Edit” I’m willing to bet nitrogen isn’t your only nutrient issue it’s just the most pronounced.

Cut a hole in the ceiling and put duct work or whatever with an inline fan and call it a day? It would pull fresh air in from my office through and around the curtain as it's not air tight?
