Any ideas for this little Veg box I am making?

Length-9 Inches. Width-12 Inches. Height-12 Inches.

I needed something better to veg in and this is small No light can really escape and I am sure I can make it work with some help.

My first Idea is mounting a Computer Power surge in there with some light bulb sockets and just screw in the cfls. Any better ideas?

I would drill a hole through the top and mount a nice MH bulb shooting straight down onto it like a spotlight

Would I need a ballast?

Eh scratch that I just thought about it again and I'd get a 120 watt plant bulb and I'd put it in a clamp light, like the ones that go on reptile cages and what not, and then drill a hole big enough to have the edges of the fixture sitting on the wood but the light shining straight down. Sorry if that was a bit confusing because of my lack of explanation skills. Any questions?

I got a little something setup in there for vegging right now seems to be doing good I got 2 lights about 1 and a half inch away from the plant

I would go with CFLs

I would go with 2 26watts on top, and one on each side. Put one mother, and clone her in there. Fan on back of top for exhaust, 80mm. Run 16.5 hours light, and LST like hell. Make another box like for another strain and you have 2 nightstands, real stealth. I can lend you more tips and tricks on a PC, I'm mobile now, all this typing sucks!!

There's nothing wrong with small grows fellows, just got to go at it a little differently.

Lol I actually have a Flowering Closet the whole closet dedicated to it. I am looking for big yields or atleast 1 oz per plant its really tiny in the veg box. Once they get to big for it They go into flowering.

that works man, they dont need much. and if you have enough light, you can do 12/12 from seed in your closet and they will still yield 1-3 oz's. i just read 2 different threads. one guy got 2.5 oz's, the other guy did a cheese trainwreck LST, top, and straight up styles for comparison of the grow of the same strain under 600watts at 12/12 from seed. the results were LST 30 Gs, Topped 40 Gs, & Straight Up 21 Gs but it had about 7-10 grams of bud rot he told us. so look around a bit and you will find a system that works for you. you still need a mom unless you have a bunch of seeds. need some way to get clones

I hope My bud doesn't Rot . I plan on taking clones alot of them actually I need a lot of bud!
