it's raining right now, i'll be walking in the woods in the morning for a look. haven't found any yet this spring. remember to pinch them off and leave some spores for next time. it will probally be a bust in the dallas area for the rest of the year if we can't find any tommorow.

Most of em i find under dead elm and old apple trees occasionally near ash and poplar. I have a few new logging roads im gonna check out cause i read the following year after a timber harvest the roads are excellent for morels.
If you have access to an apple orchard its money...i even find em under my apple trees in my yard
